5 Bedroom End Unit Townhouse /Extra Lower Level /ideal Families or Kids Or Guest
Beautiful 3 level townhome with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths at Hidden Valley, recently upgraded carpet appliances, windows and roof for a great experience. This is an end unit with lots of light and windows and overlooks Koozer State Forest .... most others are middle units that are dark. Our unit offers 3 full bathrooms on EACH level, with a shower in each one.
We can sleep up to 11 but that would be in 3 bedrooms which could be crowded! We don't recommend our unit for guests with more than 10 people coming.
First floor Bedroom has with twin beds -great for kids or grandparents or guests. Second floor has 3 bedrooms- Master with queen bed Another bedroom with a another queen bed A third bedroom with a Bunk bed that has a double bed and single on top. Wood Burning fireplace-wood provided nice outdoor porch with gas grill 3 bathrooms all with showers We are within Walking distance to a very nice pool and the ski slopes

We loved our time at this condo. It was clean, roomy, very comfortable and accommodating. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with. I would surely recommend it to others.
The location of this property was good, there are a lot of steps that grandparents would need to attack. There is a shuttle available. The view is very pleasant. Our only serious critique is that the beds were extremely uncomfortable, this needs to be addressed. We actuality cut our stay by one night because of the beds, yes beds (plural).
We had a great trip to PA. The house is large and comfortable and very convenient to the slopes! The first floor bedroom and bath were great for pop-pop and the lower level was perfect for our teen boys! Check in was easy, hosts were wonderful, and we had absolutely no issues. We look forward to returning next year!
The host were great and the area was stunning! The only issue was we found dirty clothing under a bed and the bathroom and screen porch door were broken.
Fantastic stay the last few days. Everything worked perfectly and it was a very comfortable stay with an owner who took the time to check in that everything was ok. Excellent!
Everything was exactly as described. Check-in was seamless, great location, and wonderful communication. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back someday. The house was perfect for our family & friends.
My mother rented this condo for my family and my brothers family. We all had a great weekend. The townhome was very well stocked and comfortable. My mother is older and we were concerned with the steps and walkway to the townhouse as it was not shoveled or salted. Overall though we had a great time!
Our family with three young boys with another family with three young boys had plenty of space for eating and playing games all weekend. The bedrooms were all stocked with sheets, blankets, and towels. The kitchen was very clean. We made lots of memories!
The property was clean and kitchen was well stocked. It is less than 1/2 mile to the top of the slopes at Hidden Valley. The owner was very responsive to all questions leading up to our stay. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
The property was clean and enough kitchenware and bath towels

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Beds are horrible
The house is kept COLD so when we arrived, we sat around in coats for 2 hours waiting for the house to warm up.
The stairs were covered in ice, absolutely treacherous, and hadn't been touched in weeks. My 77 year old mother was terrified of falling because she has a lot of hardware in her back. The owner said it wasn't his problem, the HOA was supposed to remove ice and snow.
The house was clean and the furniture was in good condition but the beds were WAY beyond worn out, One bed had at least 2" difference from one side of the mattress to the other, one had a broken box spring, and the rest were Motel 6 leftovers. A 2" foam pad does not make a mattress new again.
After two of my family couldn't get a decent night's sleep even after switching beds, we left a day early. If the owner does not replace the beds in this house, I would keep looking because after a long day of skiing, a lumpy, leaning bed is a HUGE disappointment.
Great location and value for the listing. Easy drive to Seven Springs and almost walking distance to Hidden Valley. Loved our stay and would come back 10 out of 10 times
Richard and Gretchen's townhouse was perfect for us and they let us check in early when we got a bit ahead of schedule for our arrival. In- and out-processing were both a snap. Our family of eight skied a day at Hidden Valley and a day at 7-Springs, and then the younger half of our group stayed and skied a second day at 7-Springs as the oldsters completed checkout by a very reasonable 11:00 AM and headed back to DC.
During the entire process, Richard was exceptionally responsive to our questions, even the silly ones. That negated any stress that might have surfaced (but didn't!).
We loved the fireplace, using it every night after skiing. There's about a 50-foot, well-treated asphalt sidewalk with some steps that climbs to the parking lot and community dumpster. Recyclables needed to be driven to another bin location about 1/4 mile away.
There are televisions in the living room, the downstairs family room and the master bedroom, but we didn't watch much as for some reason the only sports on involved the Steelers and Eagles--I understand that can happen when you're visiting PA.
The kitchen was well equipped--there's a coffee maker with filters, a microwave oven, and a dishwasher. The dining room was a bit tight, but really only getting to and from the chairs. There was plenty of room for all eight of us to dine once seated. The living room is a bit small but comfortable and popular with our family for playing board games.
Pillows were supplied as were towels and bed linens plus extra blankets. Toilet paper and paper towels were also provided.
This was a great experience! I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Richard and Gretchen.
This was the perfect house for our family Thanksgiving. We decided last minute (3 weeks out) to book a house for our family Thanksgiving. Our family is growing and we wanted to be able to have space for everyone but also be able to be together especially this year for Thanksgiving. There were 8 of us total and we had plenty of space... even room for more if we needed.
The downstairs was perfect for the little ones to go and play while the adults cooked.
I was very impressed with how stocked the kitchen was. We had plenty of dishes, serving ware, etc for a full Thanksgiving meal. We also thoroughly enjoyed the games that were available in the house to use!
This was a perfect getaway from Covid. We were able to socially distance from others, but still had space to feel safe. We were able to take a walk throughout the property and had the beautiful view from the back porch. The sunset was amazing!
Great family house and in a wonderful location in the Laurel Highlands. Very close to 7 Springs and all the great adventures the area offers.
The property owner was very nice to work with. Very quick responses when needed and very helpful heading into the trip! The check in was seemless and had no issues. I highly recommend this property!
This house was exactly as described, and worked well with our big group. everything was neat and clean, kitchen was well stocked, communication with the owner was easy. My only complaint, and it's a big one, was the absolute uncomfortable mattresses. I was surprised, with how well everything else was maintained, that the mattresses (all of them) were truly awful for a good nights sleep. If those were replaced, I'd surely stay here again. but everything else was fantastic. With a big group, we had to manage the hot water when showering, but we made it work. thanks, Richard for letting us use your home for the holiday ski weekend.
We had a wonderful family weekend staying in this condo. We were there for a family wedding. The condo was beautiful, roomy, clean and well equipped for our 6 adult, 5 child extended family. The grounds were beautiful and we had some terrific walks, fun on the playgrounds for the kids and overall enjoyable 3 day weekend. Communications with the owners were easy and efficient. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This is our personal unit we share with selected guests and renters.
Why they chose this property
This property is different than others, the lower level has a full family room with a bedroom and bathroom to escape or have some privacy. Also it is an end unit so we have more natural light, windows and views than the other units. We also like the fact we are close to the slopes but not on the slopes to give us some privacy and escape from the noise and lights of the slopes shining in the windows! the 3 bathrooms are nice when you have 2 families.
What makes this property unique
Room for 2 families to share in the costs. we have 7 beds 4 doubles or queen size 3 singles full fireplace with loads of wood on hand. walking dist. to the the foundation swimming pool.
