Close to Disney and the best part is that you can WALK TO EVERYTHING!!! The house is located in a historic residential neighborhood surrounded by cute homes like this one that are registered as Historic homes by the city of Anaheim. It is within walking distance to the fun and lively downtown Anaheim area near City Hall with tons of things for families and hipsters to explore. The downtown area includes the Center Street Promenade near Museo Museum and the Packing District which features the Packard Building and the newly-opened and all-the-rage-of-OC Packing House. Don't miss this! All of these places are loaded with restaurants, shopping, ice cream parlors, juice bars, and an ice-skating rink. Lots of places for families to hang out. Take a selfie as you sit outside of the Packing House while dining on the train. This is the new cool spot in OC and you can easily walk to not only all of this, but a grocery store, Starbucks, and 2 farmers markets.

I am really excited to present this listing. This is an original, well-preserved, 100+ year-old historic California Bungalow, but with all the modern amenities. Your opportunity to not only visit Southern California, but a way to live and breath a classic SoCal type of architecture which has been reproduced throughout the world. The location is perfect. As mentioned above you can walk to everything. Also, you are a short 2.5 mile ride to Disneyland, Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim Stadium, and the Honda Center. It is in the heart of the downtown, the Anaheim Colony Historic District, and 3 miles close to major freeways: 5, 22, 57, 91. The house is newly remodeled. Included are top-end super-capacity washer and dryer. There is a patio area with seating for 8. You can seat 9 people around the dining room table. Perfect for 1 large or 2 small families. Brilliant and convenient for Disney

We had a great time staying in this beautiful bungalow. The house was clean and secure and a convenient place for a 10 minute uber to Disney. Lots of traffic noise the only drawback.

What a great place for a family Disney stay!

We have just spent 5 nights in this beautiful Californian Bungalow. We had plenty of room to move, great beds to sleep in and everything we needed a walk or short drive away. Dealing with Robert was a pleasure and he was full of great tips, including places to eat, shop and enjoy. We could even see the Disney fireworks through the front windows of the living room : ) Extras like the soap, shampoo, great linen, table tennis table in the garage and the generous sized washer and dryer were brilliant and we felt very welcomed by Robert. Highly recommended!

Amazing, perfect can not fault this property or Robert for his help

I would definitely stay there again if I were to return. I loved the house perfect size for my family and myself, intrigued by the loft 😊... Clean, comfortable beds plenty of amenities, Robert also had laundry supplies and other bits and bobs round the house which is a great gesture. There is not one thing I can say about the place that is bad.. I will certainly recommend it to anyone who asks about staying in Anaheim. Very very happy with our stay, my daughter was stoked she got the room with the ensuit 😄. Thank you Robert for making part of my stay in the States an enjoyable experience Sam

PERFECT

My family and I absolutely loved this home! Everything was perfect, rooms, kitchen even down to the huge washer and dryer in garage. We had 11 people and all were very comfortable. Thanks Robert for making us feel welcome, we will be back.

Great place for our family of 5

This was a great home base for us as we spent time exploring what the area has to offer. Groceries are super close (sign up for a Vons card from your phone beforehand). Plenty of good restaurants - we enjoyed Panini Kabob Grill. Walking distance to many different places like the Packing House and Center Street. Central to various places like Disney, the beach, and even up to Hollywood. The place was great - plenty of space, all the kitchen stuff we needed, and very comfortable.

Comfortable and Clean

This historic house was just perfect for our stay in Anaheim. It was clean with lots of room for our group. The beds were comfy and amenities as described. Having a garage to park in was a huge bonus for us, as was the fully supplied kitchen. The front bedroom was a little noisy with street noise-you might want to bring earplugs or a noise machine if that bothers you, and the curtains do let in light!

You are going to love this place

This place was amazing. We traveled with a large family, 5 adults, 2 children. This house had plenty of room for all us. We stayed 3 nights for our Disneyland trip. The Uber ride from John Wayne took about 30 minutes ($45) and about 15 mins ($15) to Disneyland. The house is on a corner of a busy street, but that did not bother me. Two other adults said the road noise was loud so you many want to bring earplugs. I slept right through. The beds are comfortable, the house is super clean, and the space can't be beat. The host communicated with us, even letting us know we could check in early if we wanted. There are extra strollers, booster seats, and outdoor sport balls. We walked to a nearby Vons for some groceries, walked to the Packing House for dinner, and found the neighborhood to be safe and so adorable. We all had a blast and would stay here again.

Quaint CLEAN home

First of all, this is the cutest and CLEANEST home! It also has all of the amenities you need (extra soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, hair dryers, plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, etc). It was so nice to have a washer/dryer and the garage was a must have! It was a safe, quaint area so no need to worry about kids playing outside in the cutest fenced in yard. The only complaint we all had was the noise of the streets outside. This house is situated on a corner of two constantly used streets so cars were LOUD! The fire dept was also just down the street so that added to the noise. That being said, there were box fans in the house. We took those fans, turned them on and they perfectly drowned out the noise. Even knowing that there was noise, we would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Charming house with fabulous location

This house was perfect for our family of five! There was lots of space to cook meals, relax, and play games when we were there. When we were tired after a day at Disneyland, it was super convenient to be just a few minutes away. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the Packing District for meals and as well as grocery stores close by. We hope to stay there again sometime!

This home was comfortable and clean and only 7 minutes from Disneyland! It was also close to shopping for anything we needed. The owner was prompt to reply to any questions I had. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Family vacation

Those property was perfect for my family, we had my mother and our children ages 1-8 with us and it was so comfortable and beautiful. We were so close to Disney it was perfect. I would choose this property again when we return!

great stay

i absolutely loved the house and the design. i enjoyed everything about it, the host was easy to contact and replied promptly and politely. there weren’t any too crazy rules, everything understandable. the only complaint would be the long wait for the access code and wi-fi information. the app explains that we would get the information the morning of our stay but I had to message the host a few hours prior to arriving for the information. other than that, great!

This house has everything. The location is central to everything you need. The layout of the house is perfect for gathering. The kitchen is roomy. Two refrigerators. Large bathroom. Just perfect. We will definitely book here again.

Clean, historic property

The house was spotless with a well stocked kitchen and clean and comfortable linens and towels. Be aware that the house sits on a busy corner so you get some traffic noise but it’s not anything you can’t drown out with a fan. The only thing I would suggest is a couple full length mirrors in the bedrooms. . The mirrors in the bathrooms are very small with limited counter space and my teenage daughters struggled with getting ready with no mirrors. 😂 overall, great stay!

Why they chose this property

This property is 100+ years old and registered with the city of Anaheim as a Qualified Historic Structure and has been preserved as such. The city awarded the house a plaque proclaiming its historical significance which you can read on the entrance to the home. However, the entire house has been completely remodeled with new appliance, new electrical, and copper plumbing. This house is in the historic section of Anaheim and the neighborhood feels like a vibrant city and you can walk to restaurants, shops, Anaheim Ice skating rink (where the Anaheim Ducks practice and you can too! The building was designed by Frank Gehry so it's worth a look even if you don't skate), and Muzeo Museum within walking distance. The home is spacious with 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It comfortably sleeps 9 people so it is perfect for one large extended family or two small families. There is a private parking garage and an extra parking space. The back yard features a private patio space. 9 people can sit at the dining room table at one time. The house is within 3 miles to Disneyland, Angel Stadium, and the Honda Center. The house is situated within 3 miles of the major freeways: 5, 22, 57, and 91. This is the property to choose if you are coming from out of town and want the total So Cal experience. Why not stay in an original historic California Bungalow and feel and experience the wonderful city of Anaheim. The home is also an excellent choice if you are a local and you want a head start on getting to Disneyland and a close place to retire at the end of the night.

What makes this property unique

Location, Location, Location. Anaheim is the heart and soul of Southern California. Many cities in So Cal are sleep residential areas with not much going on. Anaheim features not only the obvious Disneyland, but it also hosts the Los Angeles/California Angels and the Anaheim Ducks. This is one of the few properties from which you can walk to the Packing House which is a very trendy place to hang out with many places to eat. It is very popular and hard to find parking. No problem. You can walk to it from the house. Anaheim, unlike any other city in So Cal, FEELS LIKE A REAL CITY!!!
