VILLA ALICIA is a VERY SECLUDED extremely SPACIOUS DETACHED MODERN VILLA which has been tastefully furnished to a design concept which radiates quality whilst maintaining a modern and contemporary look.
It is exceptionally WELL EQUIPPED and offers all the comforts of home and MUCH MORE. It is set in a small private gated UP MARKET development in PLAYA BLANCA which benefits from having a CCTV SECURITY SYSTEM which is in operation on the entrance gate and throughout the development 24 HOURS A DAY.
Villa ALICIA sits on the lower slopes of Montana Roja (extinct volcano !) and is only a 15/20 min walk from the safe beach of PLAYA FLAMINGO and the centre of the village of PLAYA BLANCA respectively.

The villa is very PRIVATE in that it is NOT OVERLOOKED in relation to the VERY LARGE attractive planted sub tropical garden, pool and terrace areas which are surrounded by HIGH VOLCANIC WALLS.
This creates a TRANQUIL OASIS which is both SAFE and QUIET for adults and children alike - allowing everyone to enjoy a holiday which is relaxing and peaceful .
The villa is fortunate in being positioned at a HIGHER level than the villas below which contributes to its HIGH LEVEL of SECLUSION and PRIVACY.
Additionally it is favourably positioned being in the MIDDLE of the small development of Villas Blancas and thus does NOT back onto or front onto any MAIN ROAD.
The QUIET one way road at the front of the villa is an internal access road for the Villas Blancas development ONLY.
ACCOMMODATION
Villa Alicia has EXTREMELY SPACIOUS BRIGHT and AIRY accommodation throughout which includes - TWO LARGE bedrooms (both have fitted wardrobes) one with a FULL ensuite bathroom along with a SECOND FULL MAIN bathroom.
BOTH bathrooms have WINDOWS.
Beds are made up to the number of people staying.
A roomy lounge WITH A TRIPLE ASPECT view of the garden, pool and terrace areas.
Also a VERY LARGE self contained OPEN PLAN kitchen/ dining area leading out to a spacious separate terrace with BBQ which is ideal for al fresco eating.
All the rooms in the villa are ON ONE LEVEL - BOTH bedrooms have LOCKABLE EXTERNAL SHUTTERS - these shutters have built in MOSQUITO screens.
This gives the SECURITY of being able to leave the internal sliding patio doors in both bedrooms OPEN to allow the CANARIAN BREEZES into the bedrooms at night if needed..
The villa wraps itself around the terrace/pool areas and ALL OF THE ROOMS throughout the villa have sliding lockable PATIO DOORS taking you strait out to the TWO SEPARATE SPACIOUS terraces x 2 . plus pool and EXTENSIVE garden areas.
THE POOL
The pool faces SOUTH and the SUN shines on the pool ALL DAY.
The large PRIVATE swimming pool (8 m x 4 m) has ROMAN steps for EASY ACCESS .
The depth of the pool is 0.6 m at the shallow end and 1.8 m at the deep end.
The pool is HEATED throughout the year by a combination of SOLAR and ELECTRIC heating. Prices listed INCLUDE ELECTRIC POOL heating from NOVEMBER - END OF MARCH INCLUSIVE.
FROM APRIL - NOVEMBER the pool is heated by solar panels on the roof which are EXTREMELY effective in keeping the pool COMFORTABLY WARM - NO CHARGE is made for this service.
A plastic storage box in the garden contains a variety of pool inflatables and toys, scuba masks and buckets and spades for the beach !
A REFURB to the pool has been recently completed with new coping stones fitted all around pool plus the pool being repainted internally. Also a new pool cover fitted.
VIEWS
There are lovely views up to the mountains and the mountain village of FEMES from the terrace areas surrounding the pool.
The villa has TWO very LARGE SEPARATE terrace areas offering both SUN and SHADE comfortable sunbeds are provided to absorb the rays !
The large PATIO areas have tables and chairs for eating outside on BOTH of the two separate terrace areas.
A dining table is also provided INTERNALLY in the large kitchen/dining area for those chillier nights.
LOCATION
Two local MINI MARKETS the Playa Blanca local BUS SERVICE which does a circular route all around Playa Blanca and a TAXI RANK are all ONLY a 3 minute walk away.
It is possible therefore to stay at the villa WITHOUT the need to HIRE A CAR depending on your own preferences and personal needs and what you want to do and see whilst on the island.
Their is a CENTRAL BUS STATION in Playa Blanca which takes you to destinations ALL ACROSS the island including the AIRPORT.
Also NEARBY (adjacent to the taxi rank) in the Jardines del Sol complex there is a good bar/restaurant "Baileys Bar" which previous clients have rated.
BREAKFAST is also served here .
The NEAREST BEACH to the villa PLAYA FLAMINGO is a 15 minute walk away.
Behind the beach on the coastal pathway are a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars.
The walk into the CENTRE of Playa Blanca takes approximately 20 minutes.
A new aqua park "Aqua Lava"" is a 10 minute walk away.
Also a recently refurbished acqua park area (Dino Park) at the Paradise Island Hotel.
ENTERTAINMENT
A NEW AMAZON FIRESTICK TV PACKAGE has recently been installed which offers a VAST variety of films, - over 2000 ! box sets , and TV channels including UK TERRESTIAL CHANNELS BBC AND ITV through a 42 INCH SMART ENABLED TV.
IN ADDITION a wide variety of DVD's and CD'S are provided from our own collection which can be played through a separate DVD/CD player allowing you also to bring and play your OWN MUSIC and DVD'S of your own choice if preferred.
We also provide a well stocked library of BOOKS. GAMES etc which are suitable for both adults and children alike.
WHAT IS PROVIDED
The whole villa has a newly installed FREE INFINITY WIFI system for guest use.
We provide a complimentary STARTER WELCOME PACK which consists of :-
( Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water and orange juice ) this is left for you on arrival.
We also supply BEACH TOWELS FREE of charge which help to reduce your LUGGAGE COSTS as you do not need to pack these.
All linen and towels are supplied EXCEPT for cot linen.
We provide a COT and HIGH CHAIR FREE of charge should they be needed.
We also provide a SAFE FREE of charge for the safe storage of passports, monies, credit cards etc.
The villa is serviced /cleaned for your arrival including the pool - if you are staying for 2 weeks all linen is changed MID TERM along with BOTH BATHROOMS being CLEANED and moped through.
The pool also being cleaned again MID TERM. If you are staying for10/11 days we provide EXTRA TOWELS at the beginning of your stay along with the pool being cleaned every 7 days.
A comprehensive CLIENT INFORMATION FOLDER has been produced and is left in the villa for you which explains EVERYTHING about the villa i.e. how to operate all of the white goods - also how to operate the television and DVD/CD player, along with the WIFI system.
This folder also gives EXTENSIVE information about Playa Blanca and Lanzarote ensuring that you can get the MOST OUT OF your stay at Villa ALICIA and your visit to LANZAROTE.
A full INFORMATION PACKAGE is sent to you before your arrival giving , directions, maps, how to access the keys etc to ensure that your TRAVEL TO and ARRIVAL AT the villa are as STRESS FREE as possible.
The people who support us i.e. our housekeepers and pool cleaner ALL LIVE IN PLAYA BLANCA and are only a telephone call away should you need their help or assistance.
EXTRA SERVICES
If required we can supply FANS or HEATERS depending on the time of year at a cost of £14 per week per fan or heater provided.
Similarly if you require electric pool heating in addition to solar heating OUTSIDE the NOVEMBER - MARCH period we make a charge of £85 per week.
Our prices INCLUDE ELECTRIC POOL HEATING over the period NOVEMBER - to the end of MARCH
In our experience over the years of renting the villa electric pool heating over the period April - November is VERY RARELY if ever needed.
Over the months April - November we have VERY EFFECTIVE SOLAR heating which keeps the pool comfortably warm. No charge is made for solar heating of the pool.
