About this property

Cozy cottage 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom. Porch, WiFi and Golf cart included.

Lovely, relaxing 2 bedroom, 2 full bath beach cottage. Newly remodeled. Perfect for your family vacation. It sleeps 6 comfortably. There is 24 hour security. We are just a short walk to the pool, splash pad jacuzzi and wading pool. And just minutes away from the beach by Car, bicycle- not provded, walk or Golf Cart ride.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, stove, and oven. dishwasher and coffee maker, coffee cups, glasses, toaster, pots and pans, storage bowls, silverware, utensils of all sorts, dinner plates, serving bowls, drinking glasses as well as wine glasses, baking pans, electric frying pan and even a crockpot.

The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

Our lovely screened in porch is fully furnished with a swing! It's a really nice place for coffee in the mornings, dinner and drinks in the evening.

* We rent from SATURDAY to SATURDAY (ONLY)

* Our Check-In Time is 2:00 pm
* Check-Out Time is 11:00 am (STRICTLY ENFORCED for CLEANING)

* We rent weekly 7 to 14 days during peak season (Spring and Summer.) And no more than 14 days straight during this time.

* During off season we will rent up to 30-to-90 - days and nothing over after labor day. Off season months are Fall and Winter.

*Bring your own Sheets, towels and linens. We Do Not supply them.

* We have 1 queen size bed, 1 full size air mattress, 1 full size bed and 1 twin size bed, 1 full size sleeper sofa bed and 1 twin size sleeper sofa bed in the den.

* Our GOLF CART is for GUEST use ONLY to take to and from the pools and the beach ONLY. OSV provides us with oceanfront private beach parking. You MUST be 16 and have a valid driver's license on your person to operate the golf cart.

*You will need to purchase a Golf Cart Key Card at the office to get im and out of the beach access and into the village on the cart. They will refund you upon return of key card.

* ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING in the HOME! PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL and SMOKE OUTSIDE AWAY FROM THE HOME. Thank you!

* Our Cancellation Policy is moderate. Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, there won't get a refund.

NEED TO KNOW.
* We ask that you please keep our home clean while you are there, please. We didn't won't any infestations.

* Trash should be taken out daily. This will ensure a clean environment with no infestation of bugs that come from store goods, paper bags, boxes and take out food.

* Please put the trash can at the end of the road on Friday night. Trash comes Saturday mornings.

*There are cleaning products and cleaning rags. Look under kitchen sink, bathrooms for cleaning supplies. In the hall closet is the vacuum cleaner, a steam mop with replacement pads, broom and dustpan are located in the laundry room for convenience to remove sand and dirt from the home.

*When using the vacuum... Please... be sure to empty the canisters after each use.

* Check and replace the air filter. This will ensure that the home stays cool in the hot months and warm in the winter months. Extras are in the hall closet keeps down the allergens. *If you have to buy some to replace we will reimburse you. just let us know.

* AS A COURTESY to others.... We ask that you leave one courtesy roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for the next clients coming in. :-) !

* PLEASE SEE Handy HANDBOOK... most of that is in there. It covers how to-do's, don't's and in case of's.

*Contact numbers, rules, etc.

* There are four beautiful fishing lakes, tennis courts, basketball court, large softball field, volleyball court, bocce court, horseshoes, Pickle Ball Court, Shuffleboard, Enclosed DOG PARK, and lots of walking space. There is also a playground area for small children. The village is located on approximately 180 acres. FOR THIS YEAR there is also a FITNESS CENTER.

Family beach getaway
Nice cozy cottage with a spacious screened in porch, which was great. 1-2 minute walk to the pool, golf cart to get to the beach, quiet, peaceful and friendly community. Can't really ask for much more for a beach vacation! Host communication was outstanding, very prompt. From reservation to check in and check out, everything was easy and simple. We very much enjoyed everything about this experience.

Living the Good Life
Easy process to rent, check-in, and get settled. Interior of house was exactly as pictured, so there were no surprises. Everything we needed for our month's vacation was there. Especially loved the screened in porch where we spent all our indoor time - it was roomy and peaceful. Proximity to pool was great, and use of golf cart for short ride to beach was fun - and didn't have to worry about a place to park!!!

Annual Myrtle Beach Trip
Overall a nice setup for a smaller group. Close to the main attractions within the village and with the provided golf cart, just a quick drive over to the ocean with reserved parking area for the golf carts. Most everything you need in the kitchen and a short drive to a few grocery stores for supplies for your stay. Ample parking for two plus cars, which is rare within the village as most barely have room to park two vehicles. Three TV's, so no need to fight over what to watch. Netflix included, and a selection of DVD's and games. Huge screened in porch with seating and table, plus a swing.

Enjoyed my stay. A few problems early on that were quickly resolved. I have renewed my contract with this property for 2019. Found area very active yet peaceful and quiet. Neighbors friendly and helpful, as were the help at the gate. Owners were friendly and considerate and right on top of things.

PERFECT !
We have stayed at this property many times. We are never disappointed. The house is spacious and has a lovely yard for our service dog. The golf cart makes ocean living effortless. Wonderful place to stay
My family and I spent the last week of July 2017 loved the screened in porch for coffee in the mornings and the home was fully equipped with all the comfort of home. Anyone looking for a quiet place to stay with ocean access within minutes this is the place for you. Safe quiet and comfortable 5 Stars.

The property was a perfect fit for our vacation. It had many upgrades since our stay last year.
Once again our Myrtle Beach vacation was wonderful. Staying at Rachel and Bill's vacation home makes the holiday so easy and relaxing. The home is immaculate as is the lovely yard . The screened in porch is the perfect environment to relax in after a day at the beach. The golf cart is the best addition to this property. Travel to and from the beach is hassle free while transporting self and beach items on the cart. We are repeat vacationers to this property. It brings a smile to our heart when we reminisce about our stay at this property and the area. Perfect Accomodation For A Relaxing Vacation
To have all the conviences of home especially with a pet you couldn't ask for more. The place was very clean and tidy, comfortable and right around the corner to the pools. With the golf cart included, the beach was just a short trip away. Plenty of parking space with a circle drive. Located close to Murrels Inlet where we love to eat and very close to the Garden City Pier. Downtown Myrtle Beach is a very short drive as well. Convenient property.
This was totally acceptable for a vacation rental. The beach with private parking is just a golf cart (included) ride away. The home itself needs some updating like carpets and appliances, but for a vacation it is more than adequate.

A lovely beach vacation !
The house was very accomdating for a week at the beach. Everything we needed was in the house. The house itself is very spacious. I smile now as I write this because we enjoyed it so. The golf cart makes all the difference in getting to and from the beach. The screen porch is delightful to relax on in the evening. We had a wonderful time. The property manager was only a phone call away. Looking forwArd to next year already.

Hi! I am Latina Jarvis the property manager and oldest daughter of Rachel Shepherd. My sister Sheri Styron and I took over the property after the loss of Bill in 2015 to help mom. You will deal with us personally. Mom and Bill have owned this home since 2004. They took pride in completely remodeling the home and making it more family friendly.

I am a very organized and detail oriented person. I care very much about helping and providing our clients with the knowledge you need while you are staying with us. One thing I have done is to create a client handbook. This is to help guide you through everything you need to know about our vacation home in Oceanside Village. It will also have a copy of all the forms and rules you have received from us for your reference and convenience. If you have any problems or questions please feel free to contact us.

Why they chose this property

Why our property? It's spacious! It's quiet! It's cozy and it's comfortable! Large yard. We are only a few steps away from the pool, splash pad and the jacuzzi areas. The beach is just a short ride on the golf cart with private ocean front parking.

We are just minutes away from attractions, shopping and entertainment that you would like to do and see while on your vacation!

We have a large yard for the kiddos to run and play. A large furnished porch with all you need to relax and enjoy your coffee, family time, leisure and picnic. Have breakfast in the mornings with the family or just sit and unwind in the evening on the swing. It's really nice for the whole family winter, spring, summer or fall.

Oceanside Village is also located in an area of Surfside Beach, Garden City, Murrells Inlet s Inlet and Myrtle Beach where there are plenty of Shopping Centers, Flea Markets, Amusement Parks, Zoo, Restaurants, Pubs and Grills, Swim Shops, Putt Putt Golf, Golf, Fishing, Paddle boarding or whatever your pleasures are within minutes away.

We provide you with a golf cart to get around the Village, Beach, Pools, Worship Center, Activities Center and other activities going on in the village.

What makes this property unique

Things to do in the Village.

Beachfront - Enjoy the beautiful Atlantic Ocean with private beachfront parking. Our gated beachfront parking lot gives our Oceanside residents and visitors direct access to the beach. Also included at this site are outdoor showers and ladies and men’s restroom facilities. Please check with our Property Management Office for a keycard for access to the parking lot. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00.

The Conch Café - Relax with great food and beverages as you dine right on the beachfront overlooking some of the prettiest coastal scenery on the Grand Strand. The Conch Café has an extensive menu and is moderately priced. The Conch Café opens daily at 11:00 a.m. for lunch and dinner. We give it 5+ stars!

Golf Carts - Ahh, imagine riding to and from the beach on a golf cart. Golf carts can be rented during your vacation. Daily and weekly packages are available. The golf cart rental area is located behind the Property Management Office on Oceanside Drive. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Hickory Grove Pool - Our large outdoor pool is located off Park Green. This particular amenity has been completely refurbished for 2011 and includes a spacious kiddie pool. Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Outdoor grills are available for your use at this location.

The Oasis Pool - Had enough beach and sun? Our indoor swimming pool is located in the center section green area of the Village. This pool facility is ideal for year-round swimming and gives our guests another option in case of inclement weather. This pool also includes a kiddie pool for our smaller guests. Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Fitness Center - How about some exercise!
