Grwat house, great scenery

Upon arrival you can either go t one of the two bedrooms or up the stairs to the living area, immediately you are greeted by the glass wall with a great view of the ecenery around you. There you have a kitchen, dining table, reclining area and a third bedroom. A great place for a great price!

Für uns mit einem Fun2Go (= Spezial-Fahrrad für unseren behinderten Mitradler etwas eingeschränkt durch für uns nicht nutzbaren Wochenend-Fährbetrieb, aber trotzdem: Großartig!

Gemütliches Örtchen

Wir konnten hier ein wunderschönes wochenende verbringen...der ausblick von der Terasse war ein Traum und auch die Sauna konnte gut genutzt werden :D in der umgebung ist zwar nicht so viel aber ein ausflug in die Niederlande ist zu empfehlen und ein mittag am altrheinufer ebenso :)küche war top ausgestattet...

Geheimtipp für Familie- Auszeit in Schenkenschanz

Wir haben ein wunderbares Osterwochenende im Dijkhuis verbracht. Wenn man es ruhig und urig mag, ist man genau am richtigen Ort. Alles wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Jedes Familienmitglied war begeistert von der unglaublichen Aussicht in die Natur. Schafe am Zaun, herrliche Sonnenuntergänge, nächtliche Ruhe. Ideal für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Die Betten hatten eine sehr gute Qualität und die Küche war bestens ausgestattet. Wir wären gerne noch geblieben.

Panoramablick

Der Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche ist traumhaft. Im Untergeschoss ist eine große Sauna und ein sehr großes Bad. Leider sind die beiden Schlafzimmer hier, sehr sehr sehr klein. Ich kriege Beklemmungen hier. Wir wollten von hinaus tägliche Radtouren starten, was sehr ungünstig ist, da man immer 4 km über den Deich garen muss. Die Fähre wird schon lange nicht mehr regelmäßig betrieben. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit überragender Aussicht

Wir haben ein paar entschleunigte und sehr ruhige Tage nach Ostern in diesem sehr schönen Haus verbracht. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Alles voll ausgestattet. Vermieterin super nett, Übergabe total unkompliziert. Tolle Betreuung vor Ort. Unglaublicher Blick in die Landschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wanderwochenende mit Freundinnen

Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit unserer Gastgeberin hat super geklappt. Auf Fragen hat sie sehr schnell und informativ geantwortet. Die Aussicht war perfekt. Die Umgebung für Wanderungen ist toll. Es war ein rundum erholsames, schönes Wanderwochenende mit Freundinnen. Wir können das Haus und die Gastgeberin nur weiterempfehlen. Danke

Ein faszinierender @ und idyllischer Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Nach einer absolut netten und extrem hilfreichen Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin durften wir dieses wunderschöne Ferienhaus für ein Wochenende nutzen. Obwohl wir notwendige Sachen eingekauft hatten, waren viele schon vor Ort. Extrem sauberes Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern. Zwei davon etwas kleiner, aber auch für Personen über 1,90 m problemlos nutzbar ( aber wofür hält man sich schon im Schlafzimmer auf ? ). Das dritte Schlafzimmer sehr groß. Sinnvolle Küche/-einrichtung mit allem, was man braucht incl. Theke zum Verweilen. Anspruchvolles Wohnzimmer - TV mit unzählig vielen Sendern. Absolutes Highlight ist die große Terrasse mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir saßen dort die überwiegende Zeit mit herrlicher Ruhe und haben die Natur genossen. Wer Party und Nachtleben sucht, für den ist dieses Objekt nichts. Zum Abschalten und für Naturliebhaber gibt es wohl kaum besseres in dieser Preisebene. Wir sagen vielen Dank für die Bereitstellung und werden definitiv nächstes Jahr wieder anreisen.

Wellness für die Seele

Wir haben ein super schönes Wochenende in dem Haus erlebt. Alles war top in Ordnung, es fehlte an nichts. Der Panoramablick in die Natur war großartig. Man konnte Vögel beobachten, schöne Spaziergänge machen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir kommen sicher wieder, dann aber etwas länger.

Ruhiger, erholsamer Urlaub

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wunderbare Radtouren am Niederrhein sind möglich, gut ausgeschildert mit Knotenpunkten. Empfehlenswerte Einkehrmöglichkeiten "Cafe im Gärtchen" Richtung Millingen NL und "Pannekoekhuys" in Hoch-Elten.

50. Geburtstag

Es war mir ein Vergnügen in dem Ferienhaus meinen 50sten Geburtstag im engsten Freundeskreis zu feiern. Eine traumhafte Aussicht von der Terasse und eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Schafe begrüßen einen wenn man mit einer Tasse Tee morgens über den Rasen läuft und die Vögel zeigen ihre Kunststücke. Ein Wochenende wie ein Urlaub. Dankeschön.

Wonderful rural getaway

We loved staying at the Dijkhuis in Schenkenschanz. The bungalow is located on the dike overlooking the flood plains of the Old Rhine River. A great place to watch geese, storks and other birds. It truly is a beautiful and quiet location. Schenkenschanz is a quaint small village surrounded by a dike and walls to protect from extreme floods. The bungalow is amazing. Well cared for with a well equipped kitchen, just like you would have at home. The owner and property manager both go out of their way to help you have a great stay. We loved the sauna and the in-floor heating. We look forward to a return here. Fehr family
