In the surrounding area there are many opportunities for fishing and nature experiences, for example Skjern Enge, the bird sanctuary Tipperne or the small, cozy harbor in Stauning. In Stauning there is an artificial, child-friendly sandy beach, a playground and good surfing and kayaking opportunities.
