Warm and comfortable

This was the second time I stayed at this Vrbo and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. It is a quite location, close to the city bus stop, and grocery store. I really appreciate my privacy at this beautiful place.

Great Place

We really enjoyed the stay in this nicely built out basement with door to the backyard patio. Our host even setup the 2 additional beds for us. We also enjoyed the nice neighborhood and the close shopping opportunities and backer.

Quiet residential area

Roomy and bright with nice patio. Lots of amenities. However we thought there was on-site parking and unfortunately on street parking nearby was challenging.

Wohnung wie auf den Fotos, schön eingerichtet, alles da was man braucht. Da wir aber nur zum Schlafen dort waren, haben wir die Küche usw. Nicht benutzt. Sehr kleines Bett im Schlafzimmer, Matratzen im Schlafzimmer und auf der Ausziehcouch zu weich und durchgelegen.

Sehr schöne uns top ausgestattete Wohnung

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Bad Homburg und Umgebung. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Auch die Terrasse ist toll. Einzig das Bett ist für 2 Leute doch etwas eng. Wir konnten uns damit arrangieren, aber es war nicht ideal. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war jederzeit schnell und unkompliziert. Auch die Lage der Wohnung ist schön. Ruhig, aber mit guter Anbindung und Supermarkt und Lokalen in der Nähe. Insgesamt ist es eine tolle Wohnung.

Super Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten im Rhein-Main-Gebiet

Ob man im Taunus, in Frankfurt oder in der Wetterau zu tun hat – diese Einliegerwohnung ist eine sehr gute Basis für eine solche Reise. Wir wären sonst bei Freunden in Bad Vilbel untergekommen, wenn nicht deren Katze und unser Hund wären. Es ist toll und keineswegs selbstverständlich, dass man irgendwo mit Hund unterkommen kann. Die Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel und modern eingerichtet. Von der Terrasse hat man zwar keine Aussicht in den Taunus oder nach Frankfurt, aber dank der leichten Hanglage ist man dort nicht mehr im Keller, wie es im Eingangsbereich noch scheint; insofern kommt genug Licht in die Wohnung. Man ist auf der Terrasse akustisch nicht komplett entkoppelt von Sirkas Familie (und umgekehrt), aber da es sich um so reizende Menschen handelt, stört das überhaupt nicht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden wiederkommen!

Gute Unterkunft mit kleinen Mankos

Es handelt sich nach unserem Eindruck nicht um eine Neubauwohnung, es dürfte ein Haus entsprechend den Nachbarhäusern aus den 60/70er Jahren sein. Die Wohnung ist aber sicherlich als neuwertig renoviert zu bezeichnen. Die Wohnung befindet sich im UG/Keller mit eigenem Zugang über eine Außentreppe. Zwar verfügt die Wohnung über eine Belüftungsanlage wir müssen den anderen Rezensionen aber recht geben, dass es muffig riecht, die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist vermutlich dauerhaft weit über dem soll-Bereich. In der Küche war leider nur 1 Pfanne zu gebrauchen, die übrigen waren durch die vorherigen Nutzungen so zerkrazt und beschädigt, dass diese eigentlich entsorgt werden müssten. Ansonsten ist die Küche wirklich gut ausgestattet und auch die restliche Wohnung macht einen guten, modernen Eindruck. Das Bett ist mit den 140 natürlich eher für 1 Person geeignet, zu zweit ist das schon sehr kuschelig. Klar sein sollte auch, dass die Gastgeber ihr Wohnzimmer über der Wohnung haben und es (bei uns war es ein Kindergeburtstag) natrülich auch mal etwas lauter wird. Auch kann der Gastgeber von seinem Garten auf die tiefer gelegene Terrasse blicken, das gefällt vielleicht nicht jedem. Wir waren zu 4. in der Wohnung (2 Erwachsene 2 Kinder) und haben rd. 121 € pro Nacht bezahlt, Preis-Leistung also OK. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Zu zweit sicherlich auch länger.

Wohnung im Souterrain!

Souterrain wollten wir nie wieder, stand leider auch nicht dabei, war aber trotzdem OK. Im Bad fehlt eindeutig eine Lüftung, es roch unangenehm nach ... Weiterhin haben wir uns vorgenommen noch genauer Angaben zu lesen! Kingsize-Bett ist eigentlich mind. 180 cm - Davon sind wir auch ausgegangen, war dann aber wie klein angegeben nur 140 cm Parkplatz vorhanden - aber nur auf Straße zum Suchen, war nicht immer leicht, mussten oftmals weit laufen.

Es waren zwei tolle Wochen, es hat alles gepasst. Ein großer Wohn- Essraum mit Küche, eine tolle Terrasse, nette Vermieter. Die Nähe zu Bad Homburg und Frankfurt ist toll, alles schnell zu erreichen.
