In an idyllic location, this cozy wooden holiday home welcomes you in the spa town of Masserberg.

Look forward to your relaxing family vacation in this rustic and warm vacation home. The accommodation is furnished with practical wooden furniture and offers you everything you need for a carefree vacation. The house is well equipped and exudes a homey atmosphere, inviting you to play games and watch movies in the living room and cook together in the open kitchen. Also the large, partly covered terrace, is a nice place to enjoy your meals or relax in the sun.

Discover also the surroundings of Masserberg. It invites you and your loved ones to take a deep breath, go hiking or cycling. Take a break at the lookout tower "Rennsteigewarte", which offers a magnificent view in all directions. Also a barefoot path is an experience to feel sensations on the different undergrounds. In summer you can swim at the Goldisthal lake and fish at the Goldisthal-Oberes Schwarzatal reservoir. In winter the region invites you to winter sports. A ski lift will take you up to the Masserberg, from where you can whiz down. Also the nearby ski arena Heubach offers you a lot of fun in the snow.

Silvesterurlaub

Insgesamt war es trotz schlechten Wetters (täglich Regen, kein Schnee) ein schöner Urlaub. Das Haus liegt wunderbar auf einem Berg. Man hat eine tolle Aussicht. Auch das Holzhaus selbst hat einen tollen Charme. Jedoch haben wir einige Dinge im Haus vermisst. Es gab zwar eine Kaffeemaschine, jedoch keine Kanne dazu. Auch eine Mikrowelle war nicht vor Ort und insgesamt ist der Bestand an Geschirr fragwürdig. Es gab allerhand Gläser für alkoholische Getränke, aber ganz normale Gläser waren rar, sowie 2 Eierbecher in einem 6-Personenhaus etc. Der Check-In lief gar nicht gut ab. Von Fewo erhielt ich anfangs keinerlei Informationen, sodass wir ein paar Tage vor Abfahrt diese noch telefonisch erfragen mussten. Die erhaltenen Informationen gaben preis, dass die Schlüsselübergabe am Ferienobjekt erfolgen soll. Dem war nicht so. Das Hotel, welches direkt zu den Ferienhäusern gehört und sich auch neben der Anlage befand, wurde aktuell nicht betrieben und war demnach geschlossen. Leider hatten wir keine weiteren Informationen, sodass wir Gäste aus den anderen Ferienhäusern fragen mussten. Durch deren Hilfe konnten wir den Schlüssel aus einem Nachbarort abholen.
