A wide vally opens in El Risco (Agaete) down from the mountains of the Tamadaba Natural Park onto the sea with its natural beach. On the south oriented slope, above the village of El Risco, you can enjoy this lovingly restored traditional stone house.
We keept in mind modern technique: Internet, WiFi, Sat TV and a private pool with salt electrolysis system directly in front of the bedroom. On clear days you will see from the pool the island of Tenerife with the Teide mountain on the horizon. In new moon´s nights you will look up to a spectacular star-filled sky. The natural beach of El Risco is only a 5 minutes care ride and a little walk away. At low tide on calm days you will be surprised by wide sandbank and a shallow beach. Even in summer times a insider´s tip. Hiking and mountain routes are starting at the door. You really caught one of the seldom rainy winter days? Enjoy it: Amazing waterfalls may light up for a few hours on the mountainside. The thick natural stone walls and high ceilings provide a very pleasant indoor climate all year around. The west coast of Gran Canaria (La Aldea, El Risco) is one of the least by Covid-19 affected regions of the Canary Islands.

Fantastisk hytte i naturskønne omgivelser
Det så godt ud på billederne men i virkeligheden oversteg det i den grad forventningerne. Huset ligger på toppen af El Risco. Der er udsigt til smukke bjerge i alle retninger. Vi slappede en del af i haven ved poolen men var også på mange ture på de nærliggende vandrestier. Vi havde vores datter på 9 måneder med og vi satte pris på den fine højstol, baby sengen og baby badekaret. Poolen er ikke opvarmet.

Schönes Ferienhaus, mit spektakulärem Ausblick
Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem ruhigen Bergdorf- hat einen Pool und Garten. Der Ausblick auf die Berge ist einfach umwerfend schön im Sonnenuntergang. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, high speed Internet. Zudem Küche mit Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine.Schlüsselübergabe war komplett problemlos.

Erholsamer kann ein Urlaub nicht sein
Die Finca ist wie beschrieben ... ein Traum. Die Anfahrt erst die Küstenstraße entlang und dann durch den Ort ist für Touristen durchaus, ob der schmalen Straßen, eine Herausforderung. Einchecken und Kontakt sind super unkompliziert. Die Finca ist mit allem ausgerüstet was man benötigt um erholsame Tage zu verbringen. Pool und Außenanlage wurden regelmäßig gereinigt und nach einer Woche Aufenthalt sogar das ganze Ferienhaus. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung auf Gran Canaria sucht, weit Abseits der Touristenströme, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Die "Wanderung" zum Charco d'Azul kann man sich fast sparen wenn es sehr trocken ist, dann ist vom schönen Teich leider nur ein winziger Tümpel übrig. Trotzdem ist die Gegend und die Aussicht gerade wegen ihrer "Schroffheit" sehr beeindruckend Die großen Tourihotspots, Maspalomas und Las Palmas, sind über die malerischen Küsten- und Bergstraßen in einer bis anderhalb Stunden gut zu erreichen. Vielen Dank nochmal extra an Julio. Gracias por todo. Tuvimos unas excelentes vacaciones.

Raus aus dem Alltag
Wenn man ein Haus weg vom Massentourismus sucht, ist man hier genau richtig! Das Haus hatte alles was man braucht, die Küche war super eingerichtet, der Pool und die Landschaft ein Traum! Die Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir wären am liebsten noch eine weitere Woche geblieben ! Wir können Haus & Vermieter wärmsten empfehlen! Wenn man Vodafone hat, ist leider kein Telefonnetz auf der Ebene des Hauses, uns hatte es jedoch nicht Gestört - da man mit dem WLAN zumindestens Internet hatte. Die Anreise ist traumhaft schön durch die Berge, aber mit Vorsicht zu genießen - die Straßen sind nicht die breitesten. Danke für die schöne Zeit ♥️

Paradijs Casa Tamadabo
Uitstekend vakantieverblijf, prachtige tuin en zeer privé. Keuken goed uitgerust. Eigenlijk niets dan goeds over dit huis. Er is maar een minpunt en dat is de bank. Deze zit echt voor geen meter en is nodig aan vervanging toe. Als je er lang op zit (eigenlijk doorzakt) krijg je op den duur rugpijn. Jammer dit huis verdient een betere zitbank. Julio en Marco zijn zeer behulpzaam geweest. Ontzettend aardige mensen.

Super verblijf met prachtig uitzicht
Prachtig huis met veel ruimte en rust. Uitzicht op enorm mooie bergen. In de omgeving minder te doen, maar met de aankomende tunnel kom je makkelijker uit de bergen. Voor de echter rustzoeker een ideale plek. Alles aanwezig en netjes. Wij hebben genoten van een week verblijf in het huis.

Toller Aufenthalt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Naturschutzgebiet
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft entspricht exakt den Bildern und die Lage ist wirklich sehr ruhig in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Naturschutzgebiet. Die vom Gastgeber zur Verfügun gestellten Informationen und Tips waren sehr ausführlich. Wer Ruhe und Nähe zur Natur sucht ist hier richtig. Besonders gerne haben wir außen auf der Terasse den Sonnenuntergang bei einem Aperitif genossen. Was haben wir negatives zu berichten? WLan funktioniert nur innerhalb des Wohnzimmers zuverlässig und bis zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es etwa 25 min. Aber genau das haben wir gesucht :-) Wir können die Unterkunft daher sehr empfehlen!

Erholsamer Urlaub an Traumlage
Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen in der wunderschönen Casa Tamadaba. Schon die Anfahrt ist toll, wir genossen die Aussicht auf der kurvigen Bergstrasse jedes Mal aufs Neue. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Garten ist einmalig. Sehr gepflegt und mit bequemen Gartenmöbeln und Liegestühlen ausgestattet. Oft konnten wir uns fast nicht entscheiden ob wir einen Ausflug machen oder doch lieber die Idylle am kleinen Pool mit Blick ins Grüne geniessen wollen. Abends nach Sonnenuntergang hörten wir oft die echt hörenswerten Rufe der Gelbschnabel Sturmtaucher. Natur pur! Die Zeit verging wie im Flug, wir haben den Aufenthalt extrem genossen, uns super erholt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Ein Muss für Naturliebhaber
Die Casa Tamadaba ist ein Kleinod auf einer Insel, die sich ansonsten eher durch Touristenrummel auszeichnet. Aber im Inland und an der Westküste finden sich zahlreiche Orte und Regionen, wo sich Freunde der Beschaulichkeit und wohltuender Natur sofort angekommen fühlen. Dazu gehört auch das Tal von El Risco, in dem die Casa liegt. Und man findet sie so vor, wie bereits von zahlreichen Rezensenten beschrieben: hübsch, gepflegt, komfortabel und in schöner Natur gelegen, zuverlässig von einem hilfreichen Vermieter aus der Ferne betreut. Aber sie ist auch recht weit entfernt von den nächsten Möglichkeiten zum Einkauf und gepflegtem Essen. Dafür hat man die kleine Bar des Dorfes in der Nähe, wo man das Nötigste von freundlichen Menschen angeboten bekommt. - Die Casa Tamadaba ist ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!

Tolle Ferienhaus, abseits des Massentourismus
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, abseits vom Massentourismus. Es liegt oberhalb des kleinen Örtchens El Risco. Unser Vermieter hat sehr gut mit uns kommuniziert, uns aktuelle Infos übermittelt über die Corona Krise in Spanien und Deutschland. Leider war das Wetter etwas unbeständig, aber durch die Ausgagssperre der spanischen Regierung war die Unterkunft ideal. Gerne werden wir wieder dort den Urlaub verbringen.

atemberaubende Westküste
Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen mit spektakulärer Aussicht in die Umgebung. Die Ausstattung und der Komfort sind hoch, Wäschewechsel und Zwischenreinigung nach einer Woche haben uns gut gefallen. Der Garten ist sehr schön, nur der Kunstrasen im oberen Bereich hat uns nicht gefallen, das passt halt nicht in diese Gegend, Naturfliesen für Terassen wären in diesem Bereich schöner. Man kann wunderbare Wanderungen auch in der näheren Umgebung unternehmen. Der Strand in El-Risco ist allerdings nicht badetauglich. Die Strände an der Südküste sind für uns allerdings auch keine Alternative, Massentourismus pur! Die Straße nach Aldea ist gut zu fahren, die nach Agaete allerdings ein Abenteuer, dafür mit toller Aussicht. Das Wetter war etwas unbeständig, man konnte abends auch wegen des zum Teil sehr starken Windes leider nur selten draußen sitzen. Alles in allem gerne wieder.

Hier passt einfach ALLES...
Ein absoluter Ruhepol! Der Vermieter reagiert prompt, man erhält sehr viel Informationen über die Gegend und sogar Extrawünsche werden erfüllt. Die Sauberkeit und die vielen kleinen Details im Haus muss ich besonders hervorheben. Steht bei uns erneut Gran Canaria an, wird es garantiert eine weitere Buchung dieser Immobilie geben. Traumferienhaus im Nordwesten Gran Canarias
An dieses schöne Feriendomizil in El Risco werden wir noch lange zurückdenken. Ein tolles Haus im altcanarischen Stil, mit gegflegtem Palmengarten und kleinem Pool. Die Ruhe und die fantastische Aussicht auf die Berge bis hin zum Meer hat uns begeistert. Auch die Betreuung durch den Anwohner Julio verdient ein besonderes Lob. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Schöne Unterkunft
Bis auf die ständig bellenden Hunde und dem Hahn entsprach die Unterkunft der Beschreibung. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, die Unterkunft ist auf jedenfalls zu empfehlen, wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte (Hund & Hähne nicht stören) und gerne Wandert.

We recreated this stone built house in seven years of manual work from the ruins of the Canarian great-grandpas cottage. The overview from the garden with its 100 year old carob trees to the valley of El Risco, from the Tamadaba pine forest over to the Island of Tenerife, cast a spell over us.

The microclimate of Gran Canaria is rather pronounced. The valley of El Risco on the west coast is protected by the mountains of the Tamadaba Natural Park from the trade winds in winter times and provides one of the best locations on the Island.
