You are in the heart of the Monts de l'Ardèche Regional Park, between the cool and wild valley of Eyyrieux, the Col de l'Escrinet, the beautiful gorges of the Ardèche and the wine valley of the Rhône. Nearby are the charming villages of Rochemaure with its feudal castle, St Vincent de Barrès on a limestone promontory, Alba la Romaine with its archaeological museum, and Mirmande, considered one of the most beautiful villages in France. Also worth seeing are the springs at Mont Gerbier de Jonc and the sources of the Loire, the waterfall Ray-Pic and the medieval castle of Boulogne.
