At a distance of 6 km is the botanical village of Grignan, dominated by its beautiful Renaissance castle. In the surrounding area are the upper Vauucluse with the papal enclave of Valréas and the ancient town of Vaison la Romaine, famous for its Provençal markets, the southern Ardèche with its beautiful gorges and the Vercors massif. Also worth seeing are Montélimar, the capital of nougat, the feudal castle of Suze la Rousse and the abbey of aigueblle. A must is the tourist route of the AOC wines of the Côtes du Rhône and the crocodile farm in Pierrelatte.
