About this property

Vale do Guizo Casa Sul, comfortable home in the countryside, close to the sea

The holiday home Casa Sul consists of an open living room with kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. The house is attached to our other property, Casa Poente and surrounded by gardens. In front of the door there is a beautiful south-facing terrace. In the colder months, a wood-burning stove and electric radiators provide cosy warmth.

The location:
Our property is located on a hill overlooking the valley and is surrounded by cork oaks and pine forests. You can take beautiful walks in nature directly from the house. The first beaches and the wonderful nature reserve of the west coast are only 5 - 10 minutes away by car and can also be reached by bike. The two places Aljezur or Rogil are 5-10 minutes away by car and offer all necessary shopping facilities from the fish market to the supermarket as well as restaurants, banks and basic medical care. On the property we keep 2 cats and chickens, which are always an attraction especially for children.

We, Heike and Klaus Mader, have been living in Portugal since 1993 and will be happy to tell you which are the best beaches and the most beautiful excursion destinations.

Environment and sustainability:
The electricity and hot water supply is largely covered by self-generated solar energy, providing a sustainable stay.

Genieten van omgeving Aljezur
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Casa Sul. Netjes en verzorgd en gastvrije host. Alles in de buurt van prachtige stranden en mooie natuur. Goed wandelgebied! Vooral de rust rondom de casa was heel fijn.

Wunderbare Tage in Aljezur

Ruhe pur und tolle Umgebung
Wir (Familie mit Kleinkind) hatten eine sehr erholsame Urlaubswoche im Casa Sul. Das Haus ist prima ausgetattet und die Lage ideal zu den Stränden in Odeceixe und Umgebung. Auch an die Algarve (Lagos) sind es nur rund 30 Minuten Autofahrt. Heike ist eine sehr angenehme, aufmerksame Gastgeberin.

Einladend!!!
Einfach rundum perfekt. Das Haus ist sehr freundlich eingerichtet und sauber. Auf der Terrasse und im Garten ist es sehr angenehm zu sitzen. Morgens wurden wir durch schönes Vogelgezwitscher geweckt. Die Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber war enorm. Wir wurden mit eigenen Trauben und Tomaten verwöhnt.

Ein kleine Oase in der westlichen Algarve
Ein kleines grünes Paradies, dass die Gastgeber sich hier aufgebaut haben. Wir haben zwei phantastische Wochen in der Casa Sul verbracht. Hier wird Gastfreundschaft gelebt und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ein toller Ort um einfach mal auf der Terasse in der Sonne die Seele baumeln zu lassen oder den ein oder anderen Ausflug zu starten. Die Strände sind mit einem Auto gut und schnell erreichbar und der nahgelegene Ort bietet alles was man für den täglichen Bedarf braucht. Mit dem Bauernmarkt und dem vegetarischen Restaurant sogar noch viel mehr :) Casa-Sul ist gut ausgestattet und es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Casa Sul. Heike und Klaus sind mehr als hilfsbereit. Unser Sohn hat sich ebenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und war natürlich besonders von den Katzen, Esel Paco, und den Hühnern begeistert. Maders legen viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit, was auch genau unsere Einstellung entspricht und unseren Aufenthalt in jedem Fall bereichert hat. Die Terrasse ist perfekt und auch im Haus gibt es alles was man braucht.

A beautiful space with magical surroundings
We spent a week in Casa Sul and it was just we needed after another long winter of lockdowns and masks and covid. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and if you need anything else, Heike will definitely take care of it. The beds are comfortable, the space outside is just wonderful for lounging and meals and the kids absolutely loved feeding the donkey Paco and the several chickens. All in all, it was a perfect summer break in the perfect surroundings!

In diese romantische Ferienunterkunft mitten in der Natur, möchte man bleiben wollen und die Welt vergessen. Die Vermieter Heike und KLaus Mader sind sehr nett und hilfreich und geben gute Ratschläge für SEhenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Kurz gesagt, diese Ferienunterkunft ist das richtige, um sich richtig zu erholen und die ruhe zu genießen.

Cottage posizionato in zona verde e tranquilla. Ideale per chi e' alla ricerca di una vacanza in mezzo alla natura ma in una struttura pulita e accogliente. Casa spaziosa, Splendida veranda con giardino, comodo parcheggio. Locali pulitissimi e manutenuti con cura. A soli 5km da Aljezur che offre ogni servizio ( supermercato, farmacia, ristoranti, etc). Proprietaria Mr Heike cortese e discreta. Per me e la mia compagna un soggiorno indimenticabile. Consigliatissimo.

Perfeito para quem quer ficar isolada da confusão mas estar junto á praia (10 minutos). A Heike (proprietária) é muito simpática e prestável, tendo inclusivamente providenciado, banheira e cadeira para a minha bebé.

Die Häuser liegen gute 5 Fahrminuten vom nächsten größeren Ort Aljezur entfernt, dessen älterer Teil sehr beschaulich ist. Weitere 10-15 min zu den schönen Stränden. Je nachdem, welches Haus man wählt, hat man einen Blick in die Weite der Umgebung oder man ist auf der Terasse umrahmt vom üppigen Garten. Die Ruhe ist so erholsam. Von hier aus lassen sich auch Spaziergänge ins angenehm hügelige Hinterland unternehmen. Die Gastgeber Heike und Klaus sind sehr herzlich und geben einem wirklich das gute Gefühl, willkommen zu sein.

Ein Platz zum rundum wohl fühlen
Wir haben uns sooo gut in diesen Tagen erhohlt, die Ruhe, die schöne heimelige Terrasse, das bestens ausgestattete Haus und phantastische Gastgeber. In der Markthalle haben wir alles bei Petra bekommen was in Topf und Pfanne spaß macht und die Hühner und die Eselin Mimi freuten sich über die Reste. Wir freuen uns schon riesig auf das nächste mal. Adorámos ficar no Vale do Guiso! Fomos muito bem recebidos. A zona envolvente é muito agradável. A casa tem óptimas condições, apesar da água do duche não estar suficientemente quente. Voltaremos concerteza.

Entspannung und Heimeligkeit pur!
Wir haben den Jahreswechsel im Casa Sul verbracht und eines steht fest: 2019 hätte nicht besser beginnen können. Wir haben uns im Casa Sul sehr wohl gefühlt, ganz besonders auch aufgrund der tollen Gastfreundschaft von Familie Mader. Das Ferienhaus (und auch die anderen Häuser) sind sehr stilvoll und zum Wohlfühlen eingerichtet und verfügen über alles, was das Herz begehrt. Auf der Sonnenterrasse lässt sich der Tag umgeben von riesigen Oleander-Sträuchen und summenden Bienen hervorragend starten. Auch wenn das Grundstück sehr zum Verweilen und Seele baumeln lassen einlädt, haben wir viele Ausflüge in die wunderschöne abwechslungsreiche Umgebung gemacht. Mit dem Auto lassen sich gute Restaurants und Cafés, Supermärkte, verlassene Strände und tolle Wanderwege entlang der Rota Vicentina innerhalb weniger Fahrminuten erreichen. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt bei Familie Mader wärmstens, es wird sicherlich auch nicht unser letzter gewesen sein!

Ruhig gelegen, schön, entspannend
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Casa Sul! Das Häuschen ist sehr angenehm, angefangen von den komfortablen Betten, der gut eingerichteten Küche, dem tollen Kamin, der schönen Außenanlage bis zu unseren sehr netten und herzlichen Vermietern Heike und Klaus samt Katze Jamie (die wir auch ins Herz geschlossen haben). Auch dass ich mein Saxophon dabei hatte zum üben für ein Konzert war kein Problem, im Gegenteil, vielen Dank dafür!!!! Die Gegend ist für Naturliebhaber geeignet, die Steilküsten traumhaft schön. Wir haben uns gut erholt und können die Casa Sul uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.
