Terribly disappointed - this could have been so much better....
A nice property in a good location with a nice swimming pool but could have been so much better:
- Generally extremely dirty, neglected and uncared for. As an example my sons bedside cabinet had two empty wine bottles, empty beer cans and empty food wrappers inside.
- Almost all the food in the cupboards was out of date...some going back as far as 2014!
- Very poor maintenance generally with broken toilet seats, loose shelves, non-functioning lights and poor quality outdoor/pool furniture.
- Tired old kitchen that just badly needs replacing...
- No key to the utility room so BBQ's and so on all had to be carried through the house to get outside.
- Car port and utility room were full of old broken/unuseable or private items that really just cluttered the place up and made the car port unuseable. As an example an old non-functioning freezer that smelt very badly.
- The local agents were efficient in terms of bedding, access keys and handover but appeared to have no idea how bad the condition of the property was. Despite an email listing problems the response was extremely slow and limited. For example not being able to provide an engineer to refit/replace broken toilet seats.
We had a nice holiday in a lovely part of France but were terribly disappointed with this property.
