The coastal town of Västervik has many restaurants and a beautiful archipelago where you can visit several islands, some islands have restaurants. Drive to Vimmerby and visit Astrid Lindgrens Värld. The area is great for hiking and berry picking. At nearby lake Gränssjön there is a child-friendly swimming area as well as fishing opportunities.
