Villa Babudri is located in Vinjan, a small town full of interesting content. As you walk from the stone clock in Antun Korlevi Park into the streets of the old town centre of Vinjan, you can experience the spirit of the rich historical heritage of the place. Every stone, every corner tells you about the past, and every family can tell you a legend or a true story about the place. If you walk through the stone street at the foot of the hill, you will see the small Gothic church of St Anton from the 15th century. The street leads you to the town gates, which are decorated with a Venetian lion from 1517. It is partially surrounded by walls from the 13th and 14th centuries and is adorned by a 27 metre high bell tower and the 19th century Church of Saints Quirik and Julita. An unmissable stop in Vinjan is the famous observatory, which is ideal for family outings where you can enjoy the long tradition of the world's research centres for mapping the solar system and a part of world scientific history. Vinjan is in the immediate vicinity of Pore, where you can visit the Euphrasian Basilica and take a walk through the beautiful Istrian town, as well as Motovuna, known for its good restaurants, where we recommend you try the famous Istrian delicacies - prosciutto, pasta with truffles and a glass of Malvasia, while enjoying the wonderful view of the Istrian countryside from this hilly town.
