Located between Veersemeer Lake and the North Sea, the ideal base for water sports enthusiasts, forest and beach lovers. Traditionally known are the Kamperland dunes. Here you can take lovely walks. On the North Sea beach, you can sunbathe, play and swim. For surfing and sailing, you can also go to the other side of the Veerse dam: to the Veersemeer. One of the finest engineering feats of the 20th century is the Storm Surge Barrier. Definitely a must-see.
Overlooking the Oosterschelde estuary; look left and right and you will see beautiful beaches. The Blue Flag on Banjaard beach (5 km away), indicates that the beach is among the cleanest in Europe. You need an alternative to the beach? Then see what Kamperland and its surroundings have to offer. Zierikzee and Veere are well worth a visit. There are plenty of opportunities for fun trips around town. Enjoy the 3Waterpoint!
