In winter, you can strap on your skis directly from the house and ski down to the ski lift.



The Rauland is a beautiful place for an active vacation at any time of year. Here you are at the foot of the Hardangervidda, an ideal starting point for long hikes and fishing trips. Gaustatoppen, the highest mountain in the province of Vestfold and Telemark, is also just a short drive away. Meet the king of the forest on a moose safari or enjoy the view from the top of Sveigefjell mountain. The Falkeriset hiking area with stairs to the highest peaks is also not to be missed. You will be rewarded with even more experiences in the Telemarkskanalen Nature and Culture Park. A boat trip on Møsvatn or a horseback ride are also a wonderful way to experience the fascinating nature.
