92 km east of Kuopio, 36 km to the southwest of Nurmes, Lake Ylä-Luosta 900 m, public beach. Brick-faced apartment (1984), small kitchen, living room with a single bed and a sofa bed, which converts into a 140 x 190 cm bed for two. The living room is equipped with an air heat source pump. Electric sauna, bathroom with shower and washing machine. Flat and spacious yard where the sun shines all day long. The front yard is graveled, and the backyard is grassy.

The Ylä-Luosta café is located on the opposite side of the Yläluostantie road, approximately 200 meters away. Cafe is open on a limited basis during the summer and on early spring weekends. The café is situated at the intersection of three snowmobile routes (Tahko route, Nurmes route, and the local club's own route). A permit for the local club's route can be purchased at the Ylä-Luosta café.
