Red flags
Booked a 30 night stay. was contacted by host and asked to rebook directly with them. I declined, I got sent paragraphs pressing me to rebook directly. I declined again. Red flag but we couldn’t find a different booking for 7ppl for 30 nights last min. We got in and were surprised to find cameras in the house. Like what? Then signs that say it’s 1000 if you wear your shoes in the house or have anyone over along with other rules that are NOT on the listing. Felt very uncomfortable and realized they probably try to scam people and just watch them. Creepy. Felt very watched the whole time. The night before we check out I get a text saying the cleaning fee doesn’t cover cleaning and we have to throughly clean or it will be on my review and I’ll be charged. So we clean to the point of shiny floors and even start a load of towels, take tons of pics and of course get texts accusing of leaving the house dirty ect. I respond with the photos of the clean house and I just get paragraphs. It’s days later and she is still messaging me. We left an umbrella stroller next to the trash can and there was a dollar store plastic basket that cracked, a coffee cup in the sink and a package of Oreos on the counter that we forgot for our plane snacks. She literally sent me back photos of trash taken out of the trash can put into the floor by her house keepers as like proof or something? But also sent us photos of the kitchen where the trash is clearly inside the closed trash can. Don't book here
