Location

Piraillan is one of the many small villages that make up the Cap Ferret peninsula.

Just a few minutes from the tip, it's a really pleasant place, and often less crowded than the center.

The prettiest and most typical part is probably the port, with its original and colorful oyster tastings by the water, and the fishermen's village district.

The huts here are adorable, and the visit is often full of surprises: amusing decorations, a cat at a bend in the road, two abandoned horses...

In the more urbanized area, you'll find all the little shops you need, and above all the large market square, which takes place every week.

A lovely nature reserve, opposite the port, is also worth a visit: many species of animal are listed here, and the walk is pleasant and refreshing on hot days.

It's a pretty village where you can stop for a picnic, for example, before heading back to the ocean!
