About the Accommodation
The cozy 3-room holiday flat, consisting of two bedrooms and a total living space of 85 square metres, is located on the mezzanine floor of an attractive building. Upon entering the flat, residents are greeted by a spacious hallway that makes a welcoming first impression. The kitchen, a closed unit, is equipped with everything a hobby chef's heart desires: in addition to a fridge with freezer compartment and a ceramic hob, there is also a Nespresso coffee machine and sets for raclette and fondue - perfect for cozy evenings. The bedrooms, which were freshly renovated in 2019, offer quiet retreats: In the first room, a large double bed (180x200cm) invites you to dream, while the second room is furnished with a single bed (90x200cm). Additional sleeping accommodation is provided in the living room with a comfortable sofa bed (140x200cm) and a cot and high chair are available on request. The bathroom, also renovated in 2019, has a practical shower/bathtub combination and a bathroom sink, complemented by a separate WC. For guests' convenience, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the flat, making it easy to wash and dry clothes. Pet lovers will be pleased to hear that pets are welcome in the flat, and smokers may enjoy their cigarettes outdoors, be it on the balcony or terrace. The flat is also equipped with Wi-Fi internet so that guests can always stay online. A total of 5 car parking spaces are available at the house.
Information on the Surrounding Area
The village centre is just a few minutes' walk away. In the village there are various restaurants, two small supermarkets, a café with a bakery, an indoor swimming pool and the Mattstock chairlift station. The nearest bus stop "Amden, Brugg" is next to the house. Excursions in the region and to Lake Walensee are therefore easy to organise. The Arvenbüel family ski area with ski school can be reached by car or bus in around 10 minutes.

The beautiful nature and mountain panorama of Amden invite you to enjoy. Situated in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen, the village enjoys a sunny location above the deep blue waters of Lake Walensee. Amden is worth a visit at any time of year. Wonderful bathing beaches on Lake Walensee, charming family hiking trails and impressive panoramas from the numerous vantage points invite you to linger. In winter, Amden and Arvenbüel are very popular family ski resorts. Equipped with a child-friendly ski school and easy pistes, Amden offers excellent conditions for your next skiing holiday. The Lake Zurich region with the medieval town of Rapperswil can be reached from Amden by car in half an hour and by bus and train in less than an hour. Our tip: A trip to the Rombach playground just above the village. Located directly on the Rombach stream, the Heid playground offers numerous attractions for children. In addition, the barbecue area invites you to spend some cozy hours there. Incidentally, our area is well situated for excursions into the region: Zurich, Chur in Graubünden and St. Gallen are all within an hour's drive.
