About the Accommodation
The house, consisting of 5 apartments, is picturesquely situated on a hillside. One floor below the main entrance, on the first floor, there is a friendly and bright 2-room holiday apartment with 55 square metres of living space. As soon as you enter the flat, you are greeted by a practical and modern cloakroom with plenty of space for shoes and jackets. A particular highlight is the spacious bar with integrated lighting, which not only creates a pleasant ambience, but also separates the living area from the well-equipped kitchen. This kitchen is a great place to cook, as it is equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious dinner: A ceramic hob and oven with steam extractor, a coffee machine (Nespresso), microwave, kettle, egg boiler, a large fridge with freezer compartment and a drinks and wine rack are all provided. For lovers of Swiss food, fondue and raclette pans as well as casseroles and gratin dishes are available. The living room offers a cozy sofa and a bed (140x200cm) for relaxing. Entertainment is provided with good Wi-Fi internet, a TV, CD player, DVD player, Sonos speakers and books. The wall unit with accessories, a display cabinet with rock crystals and a dining table lend the flat additional charm. In the bedroom, a large box-spring bed (180x200cm) awaits guests next to a spacious sliding-door wardrobe. The lovingly furnished bathroom has a shower/bathtub and WC as well as ample storage space in the bathroom cabinets, complemented by a hairdryer. The large, all-day sunny balcony with its large oval granite table invites you to enjoy the breathtaking panorama. Situated at almost 1000 metres above sea level, this cozy and lovingly furnished apartment is perfect for longer stays or as a home office alternative thanks to its sunny location, good accessibility and diverse options. Pets are not permitted in this flat.
Information on the Surrounding Area
The village centre with shopping facilities and various restaurants is just a leisurely walk away. The nearest bus stop "Amden, Brugg" is a 5-minute walk away. It is therefore also possible to visit the nearby skiing and hiking area without a car. The Arvenbüel district can be reached by bus or car in just 10 minutes. Amden is characterised by its unique location, with a combination of lake and mountain. The village is commonly known as a sun terrace. Especially in the autumn and winter months, the often sunny location above the sea of fog is sensational. Amden offers something for everyone at any time of year. Be it in winter for skiing or snowboarding, cross-country skiing or tobogganing, snowshoe tours or walks. In the summer months, hiking or climbing, canyoning or water sports are on the program. The wild shores of Lake Walensee or the sandy beaches in Gäsi invite you to swim and relax. In terms of sport, the landscape in and around Amden offers everything your heart desires.

Our tip: A hike to the car-free village of Quinten, past the waterfalls, along the northern shore of Lake Walensee with a marvelous view of the lake. A leisurely boat trip back to Weesen. Summer evenings can be spent relaxing on the balcony. At the large granite table with a marvelous view of the starry sky, snuggled up in a blanket. Pure relaxation is guaranteed. The tranquil village of Amden and the Panoramablick apartment offer all of this. By the way: you can discover exclusive Ammler specialities in the dairy and Volg in the village centre. You are sure to find a tasty or beautiful souvenir for those at home. Incidentally, our region is very conveniently located: centres such as Zurich, Chur in Graubünden, St. Gallen or the Rapperswil Lake Zurich region with its rose town of Rapperswil can be reached in less than an hour.
