The sunny mountain village of Amden lies above the emerald-blue waters of Lake Walensee. Amden has numerous activities to offer in all seasons. In winter, the family-friendly ski area invites you to go skiing, sledging and snowshoeing. In spring, summer and autumn, there are various hiking routes and walks for young and old. From Amden, the towns of Chur, Glarus, Zurich and Rapperswil can be reached in less than an hour. Our tip: a boat trip from Weesen to Quinten.
