The vacation park is located in an idyllic forest and nature area on the border of the provinces of Friesland and Drenthe and offers numerous excursion options. For example, visit the village of Veenhuizen with its prison museum. The Drents-Friese Wold National Park is great for walking and cycling. The provincial capitals of Assen and Groningen and the Frisian town of Drachten are not far away. A trip to the Wadden Islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog is also a great day activity during your vacation in Friesland.
