Experience the coast, which is characterised by its natural sandy beaches and beautiful dunes that invite you to sunbathe and take long walks on the beach. The clear, blue waters of the Kattegat are perfect for swimming and various water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. We particularly recommend a trip to nearby Tisvilde Hegn, one of Denmark's largest forests, with its old trees and beautiful paths. Also visit the picturesque fishing village of Gilleleje, with its lively harbour and cosy cafés, offering an insight into local life and maritime tradition.
