The spacious vacation home (former watermill) is located on an approx. 1800 sqm recreational property for exclusive use in a quiet location. The vacation home was extensively renovated in accordance with ecological aspects in coordination with the monument protection authorities (first occupancy May 2023). In addition, a sustainable use of renewable energy sources was taken into account with the installation of an air heat pump and a PV system, and a small gallery with pictures and text material on the history of the watermill is exhibited in the house. The part of the building that still contains old parts of the mill is not available for rent, but can be visited by arrangement with the owner.
The vacation home extends over two floors. On the first floor are the fully equipped kitchen (dining table, electric stove with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher), the dining room (dining table, high chair, upholstered furniture, wood-burning stove) and the bathroom with shower and bathtub. Upstairs is the living room (poster furniture, Smart TV), 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and a crib; 2 single beds) and another bathroom with shower/WC. The high-quality furnishings and two terraces with the lovingly landscaped garden invite you to relax and feel good. W-LAN and an e-charging station for cars supported by a PV system are available. Garden furniture, sun loungers, barbecue, parking spaces and storage facilities for bicycles round off the offer. A small road with little traffic runs between the house and the mill pond.
Final cleaning is included in the total price. You can bring your own bed linen and towels or rent them on site. To be paid on site: Energy and water according to consumption. One basket of firewood is free of charge; additional consumption is subject to a charge.

Klein Köthel is a rural village in the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland. The beauty of the varied landscape can be experienced on hikes and bike tours in the surrounding area. The town of Teterow with its train station, tourist information, museum, gallery, restaurants and shopping facilities is approx. 3 km away. The neighboring village of Grambzow is also 3 km away and has a beautifully situated swimming and fishing lake.

Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2024; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 15.00 per person, or bring their own. Consumption costs are not included in the room rate and will be charged according to guest use within three weeks after check-out.
