The quiet, wooded village of Meiersberg is located about 8 km southwest of Ueckermünde, on the small river Zarow and is an ideal starting point for cycling and water hikes within the nature park Stettiner Haff, which is characterized by the natural unspoilt sections of the Haff coast with the Haff meadows, wide forest complexes of the Ueckermünder Heide, the lowlands of the rivers Uecker and Randow and the Brohmer mountains.Relevant information and tips for excursions are available at the nature park visitor center in Eggesin - approx. 16 km away. Boats and rafts can also be hired there at the idyllic natural harbor. A fine sandy beach with a beautiful promenade, shopping facilities and restaurants as well as a zoo can be found in the harbor town of Ueckermünde, approx. 8 km away.
