Porto Blu holiday flat on Lake Como

The "Porto Blu" holiday flat is located in a small alleyway with typical Italian flair, just a few steps in the second row from the lake and the harbour of Gera Lario. Access is directly from the alley via the front door into the cosy living room.

To the side is a small outdoor area with a dining table, deckchairs for relaxing on the lake shore and space for sports equipment such as surfboards and bicycles.

The local road runs above the holiday flat.

The front door leads directly into the living room. To the left is a sofa with a TV, a modern and well-equipped kitchenette and a dining table with access to a small outdoor terrace. The living room is decorated in blue colours to match the lake.

To the right of the living room is the bedroom with a bunk bed that sleeps two, a wardrobe and an antique wooden dressing table.

Directly next to the kitchen is a modern and bright bedroom with a double bed, a large wardrobe and a patio door that gives access to a side terrace.

Behind the double bedroom is the bathroom, which is equipped with a washbasin, shower, WC, bidet and washing machine.

The flat is ideal for leaving the car behind and enjoying life by the lake to the full. Restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance, as are a variety of leisure activities.

Gera Lario is particularly popular with water sports enthusiasts, especially surfing and kitesurfing. The area also offers excellent opportunities for canoeing and stand-up paddle tours along the Mera River and the neighbouring nature reserve.

There is ample public parking available above the house on the road or about 30 metres away at the harbour. You can drive right up to the entrance of the house to load and unload your luggage and shopping.

The lake with good beach and bathing facilities is right on the doorstep.

In the surrounding area there are shallow beaches along the Mera river and in Gera Lario, which are particularly suitable for families and water sports enthusiasts.
There you will find children's playgrounds, boat hire, surfing and sailing schools, canoe hire, tennis courts and bowling alleys.

Gera Lario is a good starting point for cycling tours along the lake, as well as for hiking up into the mountains or towards Dascio and Lake Mezzola in the countryside.
