We named the apartment Sequoia after the giant sequoia tree in our garden. It is fun watching the squirrels playing hide and seek in it. A young deer occasionally stops by for breakfast and dinner.
The property is located in Berndorf, in the region of the Vulcanic Eifel in West Germany, close to the border with Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. It is known for its hiking trails, nature parks and scenic villages.
Berndorf is an ideal location with easy access to shopping facilities, restaurants and activities. The famous formula 1 racing track Nuerburgring can be reached within a 20-minute drive. The Eifel Golf Club, featuring an 18-hole green, is only a five-minute drive away. A bus stop is in reach within minutes’ walking distance.
The accommodation is in the basement of a one-family home. It comprises one bedroom with king size bed, one bathroom with both tub and shower and a living room with an additional sofa bed. There is a spacious terrace facing the garden, which, with its tall old trees, gives the impression of a private park. It is fun watching the birds and squirrels. The garden features a small pond and a BBQ area with a stationed brick BBQ. You have direct access to the field paths and hiking trails from the rear of the garden.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a cerin cook top, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, fridge with freezer compartment and kitchen utensils, cook ware and dishes.
Essential condiments (sugar, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar) are included in a guest starter pack.
The apartment can accommodate up to three guests.
