The Steinmarne open-air swimming pool, the Kurhaus and the enchanting spa park are all within short distances. Sports enthusiasts can get active themselves and discover the area by bike or on foot. In summer you have the opportunity to cheer on athletes at numerous tournaments on the beach. Take advantage of the perfect location for trips to the offshore island of Helgoland or Neuwerk. Here you are spoiled for choice: do you take the ferry over and walk back through the mudflats? Or take a trip to the small island by horse-drawn carriage. Alternatively, the nearby Duhner Heide nature reserve between Geest and Marsch offers a varied landscape with attractive hiking trails. Mobility: Not suitable for people with limited mobility Important: A holiday residential complex is being built in the immediate vicinity; construction noise is expected until at least summer 2023. The wellness area in the Residenz Passat in Cuxhaven is expected to be closed from November 3rd, 2024 to December 1st, 2024.
