Accommodation description:
Located in the Aquitaine region, amid the pine forests of les Landes de Gascogne, you will find this fine holiday home just a 20 km from Bazas, 60 km from Bordeaux, and Arcachon and the Atlantic coast at 95 km. A great base to discover many different landscapes and cultural-historical things!
This is a longiere (long house), with a large garden and private pool. The furnishing is simple, but everything is there and you will completely relax here
Bazas is the capital of the region and is known for the Bazadaises cattle breed, and its associated gastronomy.
The cathedral dates from the 13th century and is on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella. One can enjoy a stroll in the old centre under the many arcades.
Bordeaux is just under an hour away and is a fantastic bustling city, with the longest shopping street in Europe, but the old town is impressive, but also enjoy a stroll on the promenade along the canal. On Sunday mornings there is a very large food market here where you can enjoy all the goodness of the region.
