The small holiday resort of Costa Paradiso is located on the northern coast of Sardinia, between Castelsardo and Santa Teresa di Gallura. The region has been carefully developed and is largely surrounded by a nature reserve. In the town there are grocery stores, cafes, bars and restaurants as well as a doctor on call, pharmacy (in high season) and ATM. For larger errands, it is best to drive to Badesi (20 kilometers). Activities nearby: Nature lovers in particular will get their money's worth around Costa Paradiso. The landscape, characterized by rocks and cliffs, invites you to go hiking. Well-developed paths take you to magical seawater pools and wonderful beaches. Some of them, for example Li Cossi and Tinnari, can also be reached by shuttle boat from the sea. A diving center, boat and scooter rentals and tennis courts promise sporting variety. . Palau (around 55 kilometers) and the offshore Maddalena archipelago are particularly suitable for day trips. It is also worth visiting one of the many producers of regional cheese and salami. Our tip: also drive to Tempio Pausania in the interior. Here you will not only find a delightful atmosphere and a charming old town, but also numerous mineral water springs and the station of the Trenino Verde, the nostalgic train that offers very special insights into the landscape, especially in the summer season, and is part of the long history.
