Great Location 4 Bedroom Ski To Lift Thunder Ridge Condo With Private Hot Tub

Thunder Ridge is known as a family friendly complex. If you looking for a place to book and party with a bunch of your pals, this is not the place for you. We will not rent to anyone under 25. We typically have families looking for a relaxing getaway on the ski hill with out noisy parties or loud groups in the hot tub.
** Please note: All charges for rentals will be in Canadian dollars. Ensure your search and review of the property uses Canadian Funds. **

The unit is a four bedroom townhouse with attached single garage. Three bedrooms up, master bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite, second bedroom with queen size bed and third bedroom with two twin beds. Walkout basement is fully developed with double bunk beds and full bathroom. Unit has updated kitchen with granite counter tops and island. Dining table sits 8 with additional seats at the island. Stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare and feed your family. Unit includes washer and dryer in basement and single car garage, converted to a heated ski locker room with storage and boot dryers. Living room has a fantastic gas fireplace, double hide-abed couch, love seat and chairs. The unit has 3 1/2 bathrooms, an en-suite, plus a full bathroom on top level, one half bath on main level and a full bathroom in the walkout. The back deck has a large well maintained hot tub and natural gas BBQ. This great location is ideal for families, will be stress free without the need to drive to the ski hill every morning park and walk to the lifts.

Great Stay!

This Thunder Ridge Condo was great for our family. The location made it nice to ski down to the lift and the older ones in our group could easily take Holo Hike back to the condo with a quick walk accross the parking lot. The condo had everything that we needed with the added additions of the private hot tub, fireplace, washer / dryer and BBQ. The converted garage with boot dryers and ski storage was a nice bonus. Curtis was great to deal with . . . always available if we had any questions. Easy check in and out. We would definitely like to book again and would recommend this property to others. Stay was great - there was an issue with the garage door during our stay, I didn’t realize this until after leaving as the other members in my group didn’t make me aware. Otherwise clean and great location, it was a good space for 3 couples and a single.

Thunder Ridge optimal space and lication

We had 2 families of 4 stay in this condo over the holiday break. There was plenty of room for us all to cook, sleep and play games. Also lits of room in the garage to store our ski gear and get ready in the mornings. The ski in/out factor was fabulous,! We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck after a ski day with the bonus of seeing the horse drawn sleigh go by it's jingle bells! We will definately book here again!

We have stayed in this unit for the past 4 years and it is a very good unit and very easy to contact the owner. One small note is that the master bedroom could use a mattress update but otherwise it is an excellent facility

Fantastic Stay

WE absolutely loved the property, We do an annual trip to Fernie and have stayed in multiple locations/properties over the last 15+ years. This location and layout was fantastic, as avid skiers/snowboarders the garage/gear room was a fantastic addition to switch out boards and gear. Will definitely stay again!

Solid place

Enjoyed our second stay here. The supply of board games came in very handy with a weekend of rain and a power outage. A flashlight with batteries would be good to have on site. Also, an extra blanket or two would be nice as it's pretty chilly on the first night before the place has had a chance to warm up.

Great stay!

The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed(Bring your own hairdryer). We are a family of 8 (grandparents, kids and grandkids). The grandkids enjoyed their space, and the games and toys. The kitchen was great with all the gear we needed. We loved the location as it was so easy to access the lifts and easy to get back to from the hill. The only minor thing that we had an issue with was that the large spoons and ladles in the drawers kept falling out of the bowls( ?) We would heartily recommend staying here if you are skiing at Fernie

Great place to experience Fernie

Fantastic trip to Fernie! This Thunder Ridge Condo made the trip! True, Ski in and ski out. Great converted garage to stage skis. Plenty of room and super comfortable. We walked to all the fine restaurants, closest was 4 min walk, Kitchen was excellent as we had a few dinners at the Condo. Snowed every day on our Mid Jan trip, no crowds and had powder runs for 4 strait days. Fernie is now in top 3 places I’ve ever skied. Tons of verticals at a good altitude. And the hot tub helps you recover for the next day. I’ve skied for 45 years from Maine to California, BC is the best! Book this condo and experience Fernie! We will be coming back!!

Why they chose this property

Fernie Alpine Resort is known as one of the best powder skiing resorts in North America. We have had many classic deep powder days over the years. The resort is very consistent with snowfall and you tend to get rewarded if you book and stay throughout the week. The resort will not open some bowls right after a big snowfall, but will open the next day. The benefit is untracked snow in the bowls when the weekend crowds are not there. With Polar Peak you can get an amazing view from the very top of the mountain. If you want to skate ski, Fernie has an extensive ski trail network. The resort base and the town offers some good restaurants and great nightlife.
