It is equipped with all conveniences:
🛏️ 1 bedroom on the ground floor (2 single beds) and1 sleeping area in the loft(low double bed)
🚿 A bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink
🛋️ Small cozy living room
🍽️ An open kitchen with a microwave-oven combination, dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped, and also has a filter coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster ready for you.
❄️ In the summer, the air conditioning keeps your home cool.

From stunning nature to authentic culture
At Resort Mooi Bemelen, you will stay in the rustic village of Bemelen, near the Bemelerberg nature reserve and the 't Rooth quarry. The area has many cycling and walking routes. You can soak up the culture in nearby Maastricht and Valkenburg, or visit the many authentic places just across the border in Germany and Belgium.
You don't even need to leave the park for entertainment and relaxation!

Mergelgroeve 't Rooth
At a few minutes walking distance from the resort you will find marl quarry 't Rooth, where marl mining still takes place today. The Limburg Landscape Foundation offers various excursions (registration required). You can also walk through the part of the quarry that has been reorganized as a nature reserve, where you can spot wild konik horses.
Hours of walking pleasure
The rustic village of Bemelen in the middle of the South Limburg hill country has two main roads and a number of dead-end streets. An authentic southern village that is mainly known for the nature reserve De Bemelerberg. Together with Schiepersberg and Julianagroeve, these reserves with almost 200 hectares form a beautiful mishmash of flowery grasslands, limestone hills and hillside.
Bemelen belongs to the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten, which in 2015 was proclaimed the walking municipality of the year. Free routes can be found via Wandelgids Zuid-Limburg.
Maastricht and Valkenburg
In less than twenty minutes drive from the park, you are in the middle of historic Maastricht. This provincial capital is known for its exuberant life, its many museums and hours of shopping pleasure. The even closer Valkenburg attracts millions of tourists every year during the Christmas market. But there is also plenty to do during the rest of the year. View old city walls and gates while you stroll through this fortified town. Or pick one of the many busy and cozy terraces that Valkenburg has to offer.
On cycling adventure
The surroundings Bemelen is dotted with bicycle nodes, which you can use to create your ideal bike route. You determine the distance and the destination. What do you think of a trip to Valkenburg or Maastricht? The junction map is available through the VVV Zuid-Limburg.

Get lost in the labyrinth, climb the Wilhelminators and walk through no less than three countries within minutes.
Velvet cave

The Velvet Cave is a marl quarry with countless passages that can be visited

BareFeetPark
In the BloteVoetenPark in Brunssum you can expect a challenging walk on bare feet.
GaiaZOO
Only a half hour drive from the resort is the award winning zoo GaiaZoo. The zoo has already won several prizes, for example for most innovative zoo and the second best outing in the Netherlands in 2016
Germany and Belgium
In no time you will cross the border to Germany or Belgium. Countless towns and cities are worth visiting. For example, the historic Liège in Wallonia, which is packed with beautiful museums, countless sights, cozy squares and a delight for shop lovers. The German Aachen is also known for its cozy city center where shopping can be done. Do not forget to start the day at an old-fashioned bakery with a delicious kaffee und kuchen! For the little ones Plopsa Indoor in Hasselt (Belgium) is a godsend, where the day can be closed in the cozy center.
The park is partially still under construction. It still looks bare in some places and work is taking place. We try to keep this to a minimum. Unfortunately, you can experience hindrance from this.
At the park it is not allowed to set off fireworks, but please note that this only applies to the park itself. In the vicinity and around the park fireworks are allowed to be set off. We can therefore not guarantee that there will be no disturbances related to fireworks, even though the park is completely firework free.
