This 5200 sq. foot house has everything you would want for you Bear Lake vacation. Perfect for family reunions or multi-family retreats. Enjoy the luxurious amenities and beautiful architecture of our 'Red House'. This house has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It sleeps 18 in beds and with couches, air mattresses and sleeping bags could sleep many more. This house is very spacious with three different family rooms on three different levels. Lots of room to spread out but still feel cozy. Our house is close to the Pickleville Playhouse, the beach and the bike path. Enjoy all that Bear Lake has to offer and look out onto the beautiful 'Caribbean' blue water as you do it. Get a raspberry shake, watch a play, ski at Beaver Mountain, explore caves, go on a bike ride, boat or jet ski and look for the Bear Lake monster while you are at it. Perfect Multi-family Vacation Spot

Nice house

This is a nice house but it’s very close to other houses and there are no blinds on any of the main floor windows so people could be looking in on us. Also, the tvs are a bit outdated so we experienced a little trouble trying to get connected. Otherwise, very comfortable beds, convenient to town, great space within the house, and great communication with owner.

Red house

Stayed here several times and we always enjoy it. A few things could be improved. There are no dustpans which was odd. Not enough bath towels either. The grill was dirty and some garbage was on the deck and outdoor basement staircase. The grass was unusable and had big pokey weeds.It’s a good deal though and has lots of room for our family. It’s convenient to get to and pretty nicely taken care of. Great communication with the rental agency and east check in make it worth the few downsides.

Way better in person!

This home was perfect for our big family. The pictures don't do it justice, it was perfect. Great layout. Plenty of living and entertaining spaces beyond the bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked and had multiple washer and dryer sets which was super helpful! Construction around the house was a tad annoying but everyone was very nice. Conveniently located near everything. We loved our stay here!

Great big house

Loved our stay. The house was big and beautiful. Very clean, well stocked. Lots of big areas for a large crowd. It is surrounded by new development now instead of a field as shown in the pictures but that did not detract from our stay. Thanks for a beautiful vacation!

Nice Home

This is a nice home with good spaces for gathering. There were things about it that seemed like they werent ready for renters to come in. We did find towels clean and folded in the laundry room, but not in the bathrooms or kitchen. A half a roll of paper towels in the kitchen would have been saved with one kitchen washcloth. It is a beautiful home. But there isnt a hair dryer in the entire house. Not in 5 bathrooms. Which may seem like no big deal, but it was -5 degrees in the morning. That is tough on a wet head. This is our 5th home we have rented at Bear Lake. We love to come to this valley.

Comfortable Home Away from Home

We loved our stay at The Red House. There was plenty of room for everyone to play and/or relax in quiet away from the play. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the bonus indoor and outdoor games/toys that were provided. The owners were quick to respond to our concerns and questions. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect family retreat

We loved staying here! Each floor had a nice family living area, plenty of space for different groups to enjoy different activities. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had one issue during our stay but the manager was available to help quickly and efficiently.

Awesome Rental great for large groups

This place was exactly what we needed for our family reunion. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the location is great as well. We had a great time here it has everything you need to just come and enjoy your stay. We would definitely recommend this place and will personally try to get this property again for our next stay.

Lots of room, comfortable stay

Overall, we had a great experience with this rental. The owner was easy to reach and everything went really smooth. There was plenty of beds (extremely comfortable I might add!) and rooms for our family of 12. The great rooms were awesome on all 3 levels and were great to lounge and visit. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels, soap and even shampoo. There was definitely not enough seating in the kitchen however. There was only one table and 7 chairs and a couple were broken. Another table and more chairs would have been great so we could all sit together and at the same time. All in all we enjoyed our stay. There was an unfortunate circumstance however. There was a lot of construction going right on the property. (They had cut into the driveway leaving a very steep dropoff and this was concerning since we had young kids and babies staying. The first morning we had a very rude awakening at 6:30 am where a cement truck was honking its horn and waking us all up. The noise was unreal. Jackhammers and cement mixers, workers yelling-it was ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend staying here until all the homes around the property are complete. There was traffic every day-trucks coming and going, dropping off equipment and workers all morning and throughout the day. It was not safe to be outside and the noise was crazy so it wasn't very relaxing outside.

Great Family Property

About as close to the Pickleville Playhouse as you get can with a vacation rental and a good start on your way to Rendezvous Beach, this place was great for the family and well positioned for a week of different activities at Bear Lake! Close enough to Garden City where you didn't notice the drive into town. Close enough to Rendezvous Beach where you appreciated being closer.

Roomy and comfortable

There was plenty of room for the 16 of us , and the beds were comfortable with nice linens, pillows, and bedding. The house was clean with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the ping pong table. It was nice to store some of our toys in the garage. The AC didn’t work for the master bedroom on the main level , and it was cold downstairs. The main issue was the construction noise right next door.

Family reunion-

First time in three years that we were able to be together! Everyone- including teenagers had their own bed & bathroom/plenty of space/ room for the baby & 2year old - no one heard the baby up at night! Everyone loved the house!

Spacious house for large groups!

We enjoyed our long weekend at the Big Red House. It is very spacious, plenty of living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We could have used a few more blankets, towels, toilet paper, bathroom soap and kitchen supplies, i.e. cooking utensils. The large coffee pot wouldn't work. Other then a few minor housekeeping items, this is a great house for large gatherings!!

Great for Family Gathering

The Red House is owned by three friends/business partners. They all live in the Ogden Utah area and work together there. And because they have a lot on their respective plates one of the owner's wife is running the VRBO site. My name is Cariane!

Why they chose this property

Bear Lake has always been a favourite vacation spot for all of us. It is also very close to Ogden for a quick weekend retreat. We all like to be outdoors and Bear Lake is a unique area where a variety of things are offered. And the Red House is the perfect home base.
