Cosy residence "Mezzo Ortano", surrounded by trees. 10 houses in the residence. 2 km from the centre of Rio nell'Elba, 4 km from the centre of Rio Marina, in a secluded, quiet position, 1.5 km from the sea, 1.5 km from the beach, in the countryside. For shared use: well-kept terraced garden, 10'000 m2 (not fenced) with plants and trees. 150 m long motor access (via unmade road). Stepped path to the house. Roofed, parking (for 8 cars, limited number of spaces) on the premises, public parking 50 m. Grocery 2 km, supermarket 4 km, restaurant 2 km, ferry "Rio Marina" 4 km, sandy beach "Ortano" 1.5 km. Nearby attractions: Porto Azzurro 15 km, Capoliveri 18 km, Monte Capanne 38 km, Portoferraio 17 km. Please note: car recommended.

Villagio Mezzo Ortano
Wir hatten erst nach 5 Tagen WiFi Hausverwalter spricht nur italienisch Sonntag Abend gab es kein fließendes Wasser! Zimmer oben riecht sehr muffig Kein Wasserkocher Zufahrtsweg grenzwertig, da extrem unebener Schotterweg bei dem man Angst hat aufzusitzen Parkplätze am Haus keine 8, sondern 4! Zufahrt so steiler Schotterweg, das die Reifen beim Anfahren durchdrehen und man nicht so einparken kann, dass 2 Autos in eine Bucht passen! Keine Decken, nur Kopfkissen Verwalter hat mehrfach das Haus ohne unsere Einwilligung betreten! Bespaßung von der Siedlung im Ort schallt extrem laut nach oben in die Ferienhaussiedlung. In der Nachbarschaft bellen jede Nacht Hunde.

Anreise
Der genaue Standort der Unterkunft war sehr schwer und nur mit Hilfe und Standortübermittlung zu finden. Das gebuchte Ferienhaus war ganz oben in der Anlage und das gesamte Gepäck musste ca 100 Stufen hochgeschleppt werden. Das sollte erwähnt werden, da es für Menschen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind eine große Herausforderung ist diesen Weg täglich zu gehen. Die Matratze im Schlafzimmer gehört dringend ausgetauscht. Es ist eine Federkern Matratze und verursacht Rückenschmerzen. Ansonsten ist die Anlage und die Unterkunft sehr schön und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit auf Elba. Beste Grüße Martina Kösters
