Amenities offerings vs expectations & reality
The best thing about this property is really its location - there is always parking and one can walk to the restaurants, beach, etc - 5 starts here;
The very disappointing thing at the property was the amenities, that although accurate, were close to useless, unless one is ready to go out and purchase absolutely everything, including pods for dishwasher, pods for washing machine, sink detergent, toilet paper - the standard answer (and very honest answer, I must add) was :”supermarket, supermarket and supermarket”. Internet worked well and as for TV, we did not have curiosity, so we cannot comment on it.
BUT, having arrived on a hot day, not even one bottle of water the fridge had; not any soap in the washrooms to wash your hands after the dust on the road. Like I said, the answer was supermarket, supermarket and supermarket.
And this is what we did: sponge for the sink, dish detergent, pods, etc; salt, pepper, oil to cook - and donated everything that was leftover, because we did not consider it fair to leave behind, but we also did not want to carry back.
My suggestion is: a “welcome package” that includes one/two bottles of water, an extra package of toilet paper, hand soap in the washrooms, one pod per stay/day for the laundry, and the same for the dishwater, sponge/detergent for the sink would have made it all much more pleasant on our stay, instead of rushing to the supermarket on minute One.
But like I said, location is fabulous.
