Smyrna Beach Club 607A has a much larger balcony than smaller condos. You'll have a full 180-degree view of the ocean where you can watch dolphins cavorting in the surf and occasionally even a whale lumbering past.

Smyrna Beach Club 607A is a 1-bedroom / 1.5-bathroom, air-conditioned, beach front condo that sleeps up to 4 comfortably.

Ride the elevator up to the 6th floor and open your front door to enter a living room with expansive windows and sliding glass doors that look out over the Atlantic Ocean. The living room is outfitted with two lovely sofas, an arm chair, and coffee table. There's also a 55" flat screen TV with cable so you can keep up on your favorite shows. In addition, the home has free high-speed Internet so you can easily keep in touch with friends back home.

Just off the living room is the conveniently placed dining area featuring beautiful table and chairs with seating for four worthy of your most delicious cuisine. Nearby is the breakfast bar with overflow seating for two additional guests if needed.

The handsome kitchen is a chef's dream and fully outfitted with everything you need to prepare great meals for your guests. You will love the ample counter space, storage cupboards, Keurig, and wonderful view.

The primary bedroom includes a king-sized bed and TV. The nearby master bathroom includes a large, walk-in shower and a granite-top vanity. Condo was just remodeled with a beautiful powder bathroom.

Its a nice condo right on the beach with excellent view of the ocean. It had all the essentials for what we needed for our stay. we did have problems with the hot water on our last night but I would classify that as **it happens. definately would consider staying there again

Not a bad option

We love this property and have been pleased staying at this unit. Clean and comfy. A bit short on the things I need in a kitchen for basic stuff like making and cutting frozen pizza or clipping closed an opened bag of chips, cookies or cereal. Would be nice to have a pitcher for making iced tea as well. Wasn't real thrilled with the next door neighbor this year. Not really anything the unit owner can do but the guy is constantly moving stuff into his unit - lots and lots of stuff. And when he gets tired of moving stuff in he just leaves it in the common hallway space. In addition he plays his music so loudly you can hear it through the concrete walls with all the doors closed and over the tv in this unit. Luckily he didn't do that late at nigt or early in the morning but between his loud music and the upstairs visitors who decided to drag the furniture around across the floors several times a day it got a bit irritating. Again, not anything the unit owner can do anything about so my rating absolutely doesn't reflect it. Again this year we had to chase down someone at the "office" for a parking pass to display. This isn't anything new either. Their listed hours are a source of jokes for hubby and me at this point.

Perfect view & Clean Condo

The condo was perfect for our stay. Balcony is perfect for enjoying the view and the sound of the waves. Clean comfortable unit, had everything neede for a relaxing stay! Bonus was a large window down a small hall where we could see the ocean from the bedroom and wake up to the sunrise!

Comfortable Unit - Check In Process Hot Mess

Been coming to this property since the 80s. Love the location & that all units have great view of the beach. When wanting to visit FL we tend to come back again & again. This was our 1st visit to this unit- past visits included our kids. Unit was exactly as presented & we were comfortable in our stay. Be aware the full bath is a snug fit. NOT recommended for anyone w/mobility challenges, you'll struggle getting in/out of the shower. (NOTE: that 1st step out of the shower the floor is VERY SLICK when wet) Check In is a MESS. Our last 3 yrs visiting experienced check in issues w/this property-have rented through several different companies. This stay we arrived @ 4pm for 4 pm check in. Made our way to the unit, used code & key/keybox to get into the unit. No door card keys found in the unit. Office hours stated on all documentation, property websites & posted show Saturday until 5pm. At 4:08pm the office was closed (@ 4pm based on a yellow post it w/handwritten message stuck to the office window. Called Great Ocean Properties for info on getting card keys for the unit & parking gate key. Advised use the key from keybox & gate stays open until Monday. On Monday at 3:28pm we tried again to get keys/gate card. Office still closed w/same post it note. Same Tues & Wed. Finally caught someone in on Thurs mid-morning who was rude & combative but finally gave us keys. The parking lot gates were a crap shoot all week-once we arrived to find them closed & waited 10 mins while our ice melted & someone kept hanging up on our call button attempts. We love this property & may stay here again -but this is yr 3 of this same foolishness with keys and parking. It makes an otherwise nice visit a pain in the butt & inconvenient.

The actual property was great. It was well equipped and clean. We wanted an oceanfront view and enjoyed it immensely. The area was well manicured. It would have helped to have a few bars of soap in the bathrooms to start with.

Kitchen had everything we needed (new pastry brush is required however). Parking was good and residents/renters very friendly. Couches and soft sided furniture need replaced. As always, internet pictures give the illusion on a larger space. Would consider renting again.

We did have problems with getting in and out of the property. The problem was at the gate.

We had problems getting in and out of the gate. The guests need to be assigned clickers instead of cards that don’t work that well.

Week at the beach

Found condo to be as advertised. Great location and the complex was in good condition. Having beach chairs and umbrellas at the condo very handy. Bring at least $3.00 in quarters to wash the beach towels. Would definitely come back again.

Very clean comfortable apt

I booked from a different site other than VRBO and was charged about one hundred dollars more as a result. That was not so good. There was construction in an apt two floors up which woke me up with jack hammering and went on throughout most of my stay. I’m sure the owner did not know of this so I’ll not withhold stars. Otherwise 5 stars

Very Nice Condo with Fantastic Ocean View

This was our second stay at Smyrna Beach Club 607A, having done a two-week rental in March of 2017 and again in 2018. It's a very nice 6th-floor condo; the panoramic beach and ocean view from inside the condo and from the balcony is mesmerizing. If we were to return to New Smyrna Beach for another stay, we would again seek to rent this unit. That said, we're offering here some suggestions that would make the stay in this unit even more pleasant. On the scale of concerns, these are minor and are offered as suggestions for improvement, not as unhappy criticisms: 1) From our first stay to our second stay, the living room furniture had been rearranged into a mirror image of the previous stay. Unfortunately, this places the sofa facing a south wall, restricting the view of the ocean as that wall continues outward to the balcony railing. The previous arrangement, couch facing the north wall, provided a more expansive ocean view as the north wall does not extend onto the balcony. The greatest charm of this condo is the ocean view; the current arrangement restricts that view. 2) This condo is well cleaned, but we were surprised to find a fair amount of mold on the bathroom tub's tile grout. No excuse for this-- clearly a cleaning crew issue. We purchased bleach and spent 20-minutes cleaning the grout as best we could without a scrub brush. A little more scrubbing with a bleach-based cleaner by the cleaning crew will take care of this. 3) On arrival, the outer balcony windows were in need of cleaning. The two vinyl balcony chairs were very dirty with accumulated black residue. We cleaned these, as well. Again, a cleaning crew issue. 4) All six lamps in the condo are meant for 3-way bulbs, yet all were fitted with dim 43-watt single wattage bulbs, poor for reading and general ambiance, especially in the living room. We purchased two incandescent three-way bulbs for two of the living room lamps for better night-time reading. A small investment by the owner in higher wattage single intensity LED bulbs or somewhat more costly 3-way LED bulbs would both save electricity AND add to the enjoyment of the condo by guests. Kitchen ceiling lighting is good, but the owner can again save $ by installing comparable LED bulbs without sacrificing lighting quality. 5) Certainly not a necessity, but a Keurig coffee maker in place of the old-style Mr. Coffee drip machine would be a bonus! 6) There's no TV-station listing that matches the channel lineup.

Beautiful Ocean View

This nicely-appointed 6th floor single bedroom unit is conveniently located near an elevator in the "A" building of Smyrna Beach Club. It's a quiet location, though an occasional "rumble" is heard from the elevators going up and down -- not annoying, but noticeable. Also occasional "bass" is heard through the wall of the permanent next door neighbor, but we also did not judge this to be annoying. The ocean view is terrific, as is the case with all properties at Smyrna Beach Club; other than ground floor, all units have balconies that directly face the ocean. It's fun to watch the tides come in and out. The beach is gorgeous -- hard pack close to the water, very fine sand closer to the small dune. No driving on the beach here vs. what you'll find closer in to New Smyrna itself. You can walk as far as you can see..... Plenty of amenities in the area -- ten minute drive to Publix, Walgreen's, CVS, etc., lots of good restaurants in downtown New Smyrna. We enjoyed our stay here and have already booked this unit for next year.
