About this property
Holiday house Marrakech for 1 - 20 persons with 7 bedrooms - Row house
ED Refnr. 3237246
Salam aleikum, welcome to ‘Maison Maroc - Riads, Boutique Hotels, Culture’. Be our guests, we look forward to seeing you!
Riad LakLak La Tradition is a traditional townhouse (entire accommodation just for you) with 7 bedrooms and space for up to 20 people, with a large roof terrace and ideal for group and business trips.
As hosts, we are there for you, introduce you to the culture and the country and make you feel at home.
***
Riad LakLak La Tradition is your ideal accommodation for a shorter or longer trip to Marrakech. In collaboration with local craftsmen and artists, you will find an oasis in the centre of the city. You can enjoy the Moroccan sunshine on the large roof terrace during the day and end the day in a cosy atmosphere in the evening. It is the ideal place for relaxation and meditation as well as very suitable for workshops, seminars, (yoga) retreats and family celebrations.
The riad is centrally located between two Moroccan palaces - the ‘Palais Bahia’ and the ‘Palais Badii’ - in the medina (old town) of Marrakech, twice around the corner from the ‘Place des Ferblantiers’. The famous ‘Jemaa El Fna’ square is just a few steps away and there is a guarded car park in the immediate vicinity. From there you can easily discover Marrekech and its surroundings by taxi.
Our recommendations for the most relaxing time possible in Morocco:
Start your trip with a transfer organised by us at a fair price: pick up directly at the airport/bus station/train station and with a porter through the car-free medina to the riad.
We will be happy to spoil you with culinary delights in the riad on arrival and during your stay, at fair prices and using high-quality products, mostly from the region and organic:
- Breakfast: fresh orange juice, Moroccan crêpes, omelettes, yoghurt, bread, butter, jams and spreads, tea and coffee
- Lunch and dinner*: a Moroccan meal includes various Moroccan salads as a starter, a tagine as a main course and a Moroccan dessert. The tagine is prepared with beef, chicken, lamb or vegetables
- Please note: Dinner on the day of arrival and breakfast on the first morning must be decided 2-3 days before your stay, *choice of one dish for all (vegetarian, vegan and special options such as gluten-free possible)
***
The entire accommodation is always booked exclusively, so no other guests and the entire accommodation is just for you/your group:
- 5 bedrooms, each with a double bed and private bathroom
- 2 suites, each with 2 double beds and en-suite bathroom and the option of 2 additional single beds
- An air conditioner is available in each bedroom to keep you cool or warm
- Cosy living and dining areas in the courtyard and on the terrace with guest toilet
- Kitchen for preparing meals
- Private, very large roof terrace (approx. 200m2) with seating for relaxing
- Possibility for home office (Internet/WLAN throughout the house and workplace)
- TV and washing machine for clothes
- Culinary options such as breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea available
- Combination of the Riads LakLak La Nouvelle and La Tradition offers space for up to 40 people (connection via roof terrace)
***
For an unforgettable experience, a warm and professional team is always available to our guests on site.
We treat our guests and each other as a team with respect and treat you and ourselves as equals. We value diversity and are interested in backgrounds, cultures and stories.
We welcome you as hosts with passion and a good dose of humour and convey a feeling of ‘being at home’.
Through training, attention/feedback and employee qualification, we guarantee high quality and continuous optimisation of processes. We are open and attentive to trends in tourism and adapt our offers to the needs of our guests.
We communicate via the platform and mutual respect is very important to us. The house rules and Moroccan culture must be observed and taken into account.
To create more atmosphere for our guests, the terraces of our riads are planted with plants. Depending on the weather (and the length of your stay), a gardener will come by on a situational basis or we will combine it with the service (if possible, no inconvenience for the guests).

The house is a classic Moroccan riad on approx. 350m2. A riad is a town house with a landscaped patio. It dates back to the 17th century and was completely renovated in 2011 using traditional Moroccan building techniques. Examples of Moroccan craftsmanship, such as tadelakt, zellige and painted wooden ceilings are present in every room. The interior decoration (lamps, furniture, mirrors, bedspreads, curtains, etc.) was made by Moroccan craftsmen who live near the riad.
A large patio with two fountains and four orange trees is located on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a balcony overlooking the patio. On the top floor there is a roof terrace of approx. 200m2. It is home to many Moroccan plants. It has bougainvillea, hibiscus, oleander, pepper tree, jasmine, cacti, palm trees and various citrus trees. On the roof terrace you can watch dozens of storks nesting on the walls of the majestic ruins of the ‘Palais Badii’. Storks are the harbingers of happiness and prosperity and they gave our riad its name.
