On the idyllic island of Reksteren, you can enjoy the quiet and secluded location on a small hill, from where you have a marvellous view of the surrounding nature. Stroll down to the nearby fjord, where a boathouse and jetty await you, ideal for using a boat or simply enjoying the peaceful waterscape. Take advantage of the shared beach nearby to cool off on warm days or explore the hiking trail that takes you through the varied nature. Impressive mountain landscapes, small archipelagos and islands that characterise the fjord await you here. Take in the beauty of nature and recharge your batteries in these tranquil surroundings.
Visit the traditional country shop by the sea and let yourself be enchanted by the local charm. For culinary experiences and leisure activities, Uggdal is only a short drive away, where you will find restaurants and a golf course. Våge, with its numerous shopping facilities and other amenities, is also in the immediate vicinity.
Plan a day trip to the neighbouring island of Huglo and discover the family-run farm with a variety of animals. Or take a trip to the towns of Stord, Haugesund or Bergen, which will delight you with their sights and cultural offerings.
