Wonderful home & amenities!

This is a wonder house! I've rented properties for many years and have never seen a kitchen so well stocked with very nice pots, pans etc. you can tell the owners want people to enjoy this house! The seating arrangements are great. The mattresses are good. This house was also pristine clean! Outdoor seating is awesome with the best of furniture! Check in was so easy and the realty company is great to work with!

2020 Christmas Staycation!

This was the best Christmas Staycation! WHL-30 Oom...At The Edge, was the perfect house for our family and extend family to get together on Christmas and spend some quality time together. The best part was we got our Christmas card from the owner right before we left, so we all got to sign it for memories! We are defiantly going to keep this new tradition going! Highly recommend this house for anyone with a large family, you can't beat 5 king beds.

Family Vacation at Oom

The location, size and amenities were great! Multiples in the kitchen (dishwashers, blenders, etc.) worked out well with our number of people. Kids enjoyed the beach, which was not too far away. Privacy wall around pool was very nice! Kids tried playing volleyball, but gave up chasing balls into brush. Home had a couple minor housekeeping issues upon arrival, but nothing the washing machine couldn't handle. Gas grill was too small for this size of rental and gas ran out while cooking dinner on last day of trip. We had a great week and hope to return next year!

House was great, location was perfect. Only one comment, the backyard needed to be cleaned up, which made it hard to play on the playground. Also, I would recommend a higher fence by the Volleyball court. I would definitely recommend this house!

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Everything was convenient and clean. The only problem was the traffic getting to the house. it took almost 2 hours to get there from the bridge. We left @ 5:00 am on checkout to avoid the bridge traffic.

Nice Place- fairly priced

We enjoyed our stay with 10 kids ages 1-17, and 7 adults. The check-in process was perfect. The convenient path to the beach was great for the family. Renting beach equipment is imperative, especially carts. The property was clean and besides a few issues with Wi-Fi and TV- we had a great week. There is electric heat for stove, not a huge fan, but these owners care well for their property and you will experience that on your trip.

Fabulous Family Vacation

This property was in a great location and was a fantastic space for a large family gathering! We had 18 people ranging in age from 76 to 5. The common space was sufficient and very nicely set up to accommodate all of us. There was ample parking for our 6 vehicles. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the room set up was perfect. The pool was awesome and very well maintained. The walkway to the beach was just steps from the driveway. Communication with Shoreline OBX was easy, helpful and friendly. When we arrived, the dryer was broken, and they promptly sent someone to fix. It was a fantastic experience, and everyone had a great time!! Thank-you!!

Oom on the Edge

My husband and I took our blended family of 5 grown kids and their kids to visit and had a wonderful time so much to do we didn’t get it all done. The house accommodated everyone and made for a great trip. Loved the 2 dishwashers so we weren’t washing dishes or using a lot of paper plates. The kitchen is stocked extremely well. The walk to the beach is short and easy to pull a wagon of stuff. Overall a wonderful house to stay in especially for a large group

Amazing!

The pictures and property description were spot on. This was a great house for a bunch of active teenage boys. We played volleyball, basketball, spike ball, pickle ball, billiards, etc. They are all active and this property kept them very busy. They had the whole basement for themselves and they loved it. They could hang out with their brothers and cousins without waking grandma and grandpa. It was perfect!

Christmas in the Outer Banks

Beautiful and private location on the island. Few minute walk to the beach each day. Exactly as it looks in the photos. Beautiful, homey and clean. All the amenities you need to enjoy a week at the beach. Very spacious. The kitchen was awesome! Had all the appliances and dishes we needed to make large meals and baked goods for the holiday. Great communication with the manager when we had questions. The house had games, puzzles, lots books and tvs. We look forward to comeback.!

Great Space for a Large Family Vacation!

We came to celebrate a milestone anniversary, with guests ranging in age from 3 months to 74 years! The house was perfect for all of our needs - a wonderful place to hang out, and close to the beach and shopping!

Great week!

It was a very nice house. Adequate number of bedrooms for all guests. Pool was nice and clean. Needed some maintenance on the pool and they were there within a couple hours. Just wish it was a little closer to the beach. It was rather inconvenient for the walking beach access to be closed. We had to drive to the public access which made it a little more challenging with small children. Overall a great place to stay.

Perfect Family Beach Vacation House

This vacation home is stunningly beautiful. We used the pool, volleyball, swing set, and basketball hoop when we weren't enjoying nearby activities such as the beach (a short walk away), climbing the lighthouse, or photographing horses on the Wild Horse tour. The home has everything we needed, including 2 Pac-n-plays and 2 highchairs. The 2 kitchen dishwashers came in very handy as we had a large family group. The dining area is set up perfectly for allowing everyone to eat together as well as to play board games or do puzzles. There are many games/puzzles/books already in the home. The decorations are beautiful and the furniture/beds/appliances are of a higher quality than we've encountered before in similar rental homes. Different members of the family kept saying they wanted to live here permanently--that's how nice it was. Note: bring your own balls for volleyball and basketball. We are also very glad we rented bikes and cornhole for the week; these were available at a significant discount because we were renting this property. I can't recommend this property highly enough. It's outstanding.
