Are you looking for a dream destination for the whole family for your next short break or summer vacation? A little spot in France that will definitely not leave you indifferent and where no two days are the same?
Then I am happy to introduce you to my attractive vacation apartment in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan.
This ground floor apartment in the Château de Kergonano - a 17th century castle that was completely renovated in 2012 - offers you a unique location. You enter via the private and furnished terrace. High windows and a ceiling height of 3.40 m create a bright and spacious atmosphere.
The apartment consists of a living area with an integrated, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and the other with a bunk bed), a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and 2 washbasins and a spacious hallway. There are wardrobes with plenty of storage space in all rooms and in the hallway. In the living room, the couch can be converted into a sofa bed for 2 people.
The private south-facing terrace invites you to enjoy meals outside or simply read a book - with a view of the pool and park. Here you can relax in the evening with a glass of wine.
The shared pool is heated and fully secured from mid-April to the end of September. It invites you to relax after a day of exploring.
This haven of peace is located in Baden, in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan and is the ideal starting point to discover the many small islands of the Gulf with all their facets.
Some can be discovered on foot at low tide, others by ferry, your own boat or even by canoe.
Many footpaths and trails along the coast or inland will take you to unforgettable landscapes.
The beautiful beach of 7 Iles or Locmiquel are only 3.5 km away and can also be easily reached by bike.
The GR34 hiking trail runs along the entire coast of Brittany, allowing you to discover a new landscape every day.
In the immediate vicinity are picturesque villages such as Auray with its port of Saint Goustan, Arradon, Larmor Baden, Locmariaquer and Le Bono. The “capital” Vannes with its port, half-timbered houses, ramparts and entertainment is only 14 km away. From here you can also cross over to the islands of Houat and Hoedic - an absolute must for your vacation.
Carnac with its impressive menhirs and the famous bay of Quiberon are just a 20-minute drive away.
For golf enthusiasts, there is a course just 2 km away in Baden itself.
I could list hundreds of other ideas - you can see I am an absolute fan of this region. This apartment is a gift that I gave myself in September 2024 - and that I am happy to share with you.
