The start of our stay was a little cooler but we had plenty of room inside to relax comfortably! This didn’t stop the kids from jumping in the water though and when the weather warmed up the whole family enjoyed the docks and kayaks! Nicely located for a quick run into town when needed as well!
Our family of 8 people ( 7 adults + 1 child) really enjoyed our week stay at your cottage. The cottage was exceptional. Most of the day was spent on the dock and in the water. We also used the firepit a couple of evenings. We did a day trip to Parry Sound one day as well.
We would definitely book this cottage again.
Domenic and Alison's home is vacationer's paradise. As hosts, they are topnotch.
The lake is pristine for swimming and the shoreline is perfect for anyone who wishes to wade in. The 2 waterfront sitting areas offer shade and sun. The home is immaculate and very comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware. The new, high end BBQ is terrific. Sitting around the fire pit in the evenings, stargazing, can't be beat. We loved it.
Domenic and Alison were lovely to work with. They answered questions quickly and offered suggestions.
We enjoyed sitting on the dock and the ability to just relax and read. Explored some of the local communities and had a wonderful dinner at Crossroads in Rosseau. Would highly recommend this place!
This is a beautiful property.
Our family of 5 adults and 2 children (aged 10 and 12) had a totally enjoyable week at this beautiful cottage!! The inside and outside of this property were decorated and maintained beautifully. All the furnishings were extremely comfortable and the home was fully equipped with everything you would need. The lake was lovely and we had hours of fun jumping off the dock or paddling around the lake. We would happily return to this cottage!! Thank you for helping us have a perfect start to our summer!!
Domenic’s cottage is modern, extremely comfortable and has every amenity one would need for a hassle-free week up North. The lake was pristine and the dock was roomy. We spent most of our time either on a Muskoka chair, swimming or exploring the lake in the kayaks. Although there are two separate living room areas with big screen tv’s - there was so much to do outdoors that we never touched the remote! We also took advantage of all three dining areas: dining room, outdoor patio and screened in porch. What a great week - even with a bit of rain. We would definitely return.
Our family of five, including three teenagers, had a wonderful week at the cottage. Everything was top notch - the kitchen contained everything we needed and all of the beds were super comfortable. The cottage is just as it appears in the pictures. We rented a SeaDoo and had fun exploring the lake. We had many great nights around the fire pit and many great days swimming and relaxing on the dock and in the hammock. Dominic was fantastic to deal with. We highly recommend this cottage!
We enjoyed an amazing week at this fabulous property. So spacious, so comfortable, so well equipped, so private. It ticked off all the boxes for a perfect vacation, and then some. We loved it!
We thoroughly enjoyed every inch of this beautiful raised cottage. There is so much space to enjoy and The main floor 30 foot cathedral ceiling is stunning. Loved the eating options on the deck, in the screened-in-porch or inside. The downstairs entertainment area with pool table and games section was a welcome bonus on the one day it rained. Lots of water toys to play with and Muskoka chairs on the floating dock to max and relax. Owners are lovely to communicate with and if you happen to meet their cleaner, she is very kind and friendly too. This place is a gem!
We had a great week at this cottage! The location was perfect- we took our boat, and our teens had a great time tubing and wake boarding. We also went to Killbear for a day, and enjoyed checking out the Bobby Orr hall of fame in Parry Sound.
This place has it all - great cottage, great lake, great hosts! The place is very private and the lake is super clean. Domenic and Alison were quick to respond to any questions and left us a gift card for the local bakery upon our arrival. We had a wonderful 2 weeks!
Cottage was beautiful and kitchen was fully stocked with necessary kitchenware. Very cozy location, mostly local water traffic, however busier on the weekend. Very private. Beds were on the softer side but that’s just preference. Checking in and out was a breeze. Owner provided all pertinent info a week before arrival.
I really don't want to give it a great review, because I definitely want to book again. Cottage and property was stunning. We did have two 80 plus year Olds that traveled with us and they lived sitting on the balconies admiring the view. Our 4 18+ kids loved the lake, and cottage and use of kayaks , pool table on a rainy day. Perfect for large families to spread out. Absolutely loved it! We had a couple questions for owners and they quickly responded. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us !
All the comforts of home for all ages. Wonderful mini family reunion offering time for relaxation, outdoor activities and nature at your doorstep. D&C, thank you for a perfect cottage experience.
This cottage was amazing! Exactly as pictures suggest. Clean, spacious with all the amenities for a wonderful vacation. Was a little too early in the season for us to enjoy any water activities but sitting on the dock enjoying a cocktail at sunset was perfect. We were able to take advantage of close access to the P2P trail for some ATV fun! We would definitely recommend this cottage and may perhaps make a return visit ourselves in the near future.
We enjoyed our 2-week stay. The location overlooking the lake was idyllic. We made use of the pedal boat, kayaks and canoe. The kitchen was very well equipped. There were games and books and a pool table to keep us busy during the cool, rainy days.
The house is beautiful, so well laid out, and very comfortable. Great beds, linens, every equipment imaginable in the kitchen. (Bring your spices etc). Two kind beds especially nice for families, couples. A deck AND a screened porch, both with great views. The dock is terrific, with a wonderfully sturdy ladder (as well as a beach). It's a steep driveway down to the house, something to get used to. Dominic and Alison are great hosts, very responsive.
We loved this location and property. Absolutely spotless on arrival and kitchen is fully kitted out for all your need. A beautiful lake and we had fun in the kayaks and canoe and got to explore a little. A perfect way to relax.

Why they chose this property
We built the original cottage in 1998 and regretfully we lost it to fire. We love the lake and land so much, we rebuilt. The lake features a marina and also a restaurant (which specializes in pizza and delicious ice cream!
What makes this property unique
We believe you will enjoy the screened porch with a view of the lake in addition to the stunning cathedral ceilings with Douglas Fir beams. We also include kayaks, a paddleboat and a canoe with the rental.
