Families welcome to our Beach House- 1 block to the beach!

Families welcome! This home is perfect for families with young children on a beautiful and quiet block in Ventnor! We are only 1 block to the beach!
This is a 2 story home with an open floor plan. The first floor includes a living room, dining room, washer/dryer and a beautiful kitchen with granite countertops, breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, and energy efficient appliances including 5 burner gas range and a 21 bottle wine refrigerator. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you need to prepare meals including a crock pot and a lobster pot! The first floor also includes a den with access to the back deck, full bath, and french doors for privacy from the main living space.
The second floor has two full baths, three bedrooms which include 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and pack-n-play. The large primary suite has a sitting area, one of the bathrooms and access to an outdoor deck.

Dual zone central air conditioning system. All rooms have ceiling fans. There are beach badges, chairs, umbrellas, etc.

Summer rental period has a 7 night minimum with a Saturday to Saturday stay. Renters must be at least 25 years old. LINENS ARE NOT PROVIDED

Easy house, great location

Our vacation with kids and grandparents was a big success, thanks to a great house in a perfect location. Lorena was super responsive and very accommodating. Digital temperature control (Echobee) made sleeping comfortable on hot nights. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook family dinners. Beach cart, toys and chairs made getting back and forth from the beach easy. Location in the heart of Ventnor near AAAA Bikes, Sacko’s and Wawa was perfect. One thing to note is the separate two-bedroom apartment is not really a part of the house. We actually didn’t use it so can’t speak to it. All in all, highly recommend and will be back!

Great Beach House

My family just enjoyed a terrific week. The house was clean, bright, and roomy. The amenities were just about all you could ask for, and being a block and a half from the beach was so convenient. Hope to return next year.

Nice house but not really a 5 bedroom house

I just stayed here with my family - 8 of us, including 4 kids. The main house is nice and the location is great. Our biggest issue is that the property is not really a 5 bedroom house. It is a 3 bedroom house with a completely separate, yet attached 2 bedroom apartment (in-law suite) which has not been updated. The apartment has noisy window units for A/C without ceiling fans and the ceilings are low. You have to run a dehumidifier daily as it is very musty. The apartment is not accessible from inside of the house. You must go outside and downstairs to access it. The main part of the house is nice but you need to bring your own hangers and the middle bedroom has no drawers for your clothes. I provided this feedback to the owner so that other renters are not caught off guard about the set up like we were. The owner was very accommodating with contacting the township when our trash was overflowing.

Fantastic home

We have stayed at this Property for the last several years and every year we have had a great experience. The owners are absolutely fantastic to work with and this is our favorite house in ventnor! Location is perfect too. We will definitely look to rent this house again.

Life is better at the beach

My family and I absolutely love our time at this property. This is our second consecutive summer staying here (and fourth summer renting on this particular street), and the set-up is fantastic. Walkable to the beach - key for when you have two small children like we do - roomy and light and airy inside with a separate set-up downstairs for guests or a nanny. The house has everything you need for an incredible time down the shore, and Lorena is a wonderful, communicative host.

Clean, cute, close to shore

This house was great! We loved all the child proofing, gates, crib, toys etc that had for our 2 kiddos. House was very spacious and clean. Kitchen well equipped. Close to the ocean (about 5 min walk). Lots of beach toys, chairs, wagon etc. only thing that caught off us off guard was the linen fee $150 for towels and sheets. We also had to buy hand soap, sponges, toilet paper, paper towels. We are from the west coast and those items are supplied in Cali rentals. Property owner was apologetic and even sent a star bucks gift card. She was also very responsive :) thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic for a family getaway down the shore

We just spent two amazing weeks of July 2018 at Lorena's property and absolutely loved our time there. We have two small children - a toddler and an infant - and the house provided the perfect set-up for our family. The vibe is clean and airy, the house layout is fantastic (open kitchen - great backyard space - solid size bedrooms), and you can't beat the convenience of the location (such a quick walk to the beach, which is key with kids). Not to mention, the house is well-equipped with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, a rolling wagon, aka everything you need to take to the beach - a major win. Lorena and her husband were ultra attentive and responsive to our questions, making it a very easy and seamless stay. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home, perfect for large families and very kid friendly

Our family had the pleasure of renting this home this summer for a week, and without hesitation, we will be back next year! The home is extremely clean and well kept - great sized bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen has everything you need and lots of places to escape to when needing a few minutes of quiet time! You can't beat the location to the beach. The beaches at the end of town are long and wide, so nice to spread out. During the week it felt like we had our own private beach! The garage is full of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for the kids. They even supply a cart and wagon so you can easily transport all said beach items. The bonus apartment worked out great for us - especially having that extra refrigerator for all of our food. You are also in walking distance to some amazing Ventnor restaurants - both casual and fancier dining options. This house was truly a gem!

Beautiful house and location

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at "The Beach House." When we arrived, there was a binder waiting in the kitchen with notes about the neighborhood, plus beach passes, plus parking permits for the street (even though there is plenty of room in the driveway!). First thing you notice is the beautiful, open kitchen and dining area, which for us was a big plus as we like to grill and cook. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, and Lorena even provided a pizza stone when we asked if the kitchen had one. The back deck and patio are perfect for relaxing in an open but cozy environment and enjoying the morning and night air. The grill was in great shape, worked like a charm, and we used it almost every night. The garage was stocked with beach umbrellas, chairs, kids toys, even boogey boards. There was a cart which we used to take everything down to the beach, which is only a block and a half away. It was great to be so close! Many times we decided on a lark to hit the beach and it was not even a five minute walk to get there. The bedrooms are spacious, clean, and suited us perfectly. The downstairs apartment is like a mini-house unto itself, but the ceiling is a little low. However, considering how big the rest of the house is, we didn't even notice it. The main house had more than enough space for our family of 10, and we used the downstairs apartment mostly to sleep and shower. Overall, Ventnor City is a great place to spend a summer vacation and we look forward to coming back. Lorena's Beach House was a great experience for us and made for a wonderful memory. Lorena was very responsive to our questions and it seems like she has thought of everything. Just about everything was perfect, and we highly recommend it to anyone!

Villa Serre is a true gem!

This house was a perfect vacation spot for our 2 family crew. Villa Serre was very well equipped, spacious and clean. The communication with the owners was fantastic! Beware Tuesday is street sweeping day, and even with a parking pass, if you're parked on the street you will get a ticket- $21 to be exact! Look for the street signs that we never noticed :) Ventnor City Beach was great. We did have a hard time finding stuff to do with our teenagers and commented that if the kids were still little the beach would've been enough. The beach was clean and quiet-and the waves were perfect for boogie boarding (which were available to us at the house-ty!) We spent a lot more time on the Atlantic City Boardwalk than anticipated and took a ride to Ocean City. Save your $5 (each)for a beach tag there, and $15 to park, Ventnor Beach was much nicer-we did enjoy Ocean City at night, however, for mini golf and boardwalk food. All-in-all we had a great week away and are grateful to have found Villa Serre- our home away from home!

Perfect Beach House!

This home was exactly as described. Excellent location, convenient to beach and near by attractions. It was very clean and comfortable with many amenities that made our stay enjoyable. The back deck, patio and grill are a bonus. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. Towel and linen service was great. This is a great value. No complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.

As good as advertised, clean, kid-friendly, excellent location

Me and my extended family had a wonderful time at the beach house. It was just as advertised. Very clean, especially for a beach house, and very kid friendly. We had a 6 month old, 1 year old and 3 year old and the house had many, many accommodations that made our stay more enjoyable/manageable. There was a bag of toys inside the house, tons of beach toys, child gates, a high chair, and a changing table/pack-n-play. The kitchen was very well stocked. The house is an easy block and a half walk to prime Ventnor City beach. I have rented two other Ventnor properties over the last few years and third time was the charm. This was the best by far and I would highly recommend this house to anyone with or without kids. Will be back for sure!
