It is on the same property as the owner's house, who sometimes stays there. Lapeyrouse is located in the heart of Auvergne, between the cities of Montluçon and Clermont-Ferrand, on the edge of the Puy de Dôme. Although the valley of the river Sioule is 26 km south, the immediate surroundings of Lapeyrouse offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature and tranquillity. For example, there are vast forests where you can take beautiful walks and a swimming lake just 2-3 km away for a refreshing dip.

The region is known for its green landscapes and rolling hills, combined with a rich heritage of castles and Romanesque churches. In addition, the Puy de Dôme offers several spas where you can unwind
