Introduction to the Japandi House

For fans of the minimalist Japanese/Scandinavian (Japandi) style of furnishing, our house is just the right place to relax and feel completely at ease.

The exclusively furnished 5-room house with garden has
- a fully equipped kitchen
- a light-flooded dining room,
- a living room with a wood-burning stove,
- 3 double or twin bedrooms with box-spring beds,
- a large bathroom with shower and bathtub and
- a separate guest toilet in the entrance area.

The south-facing end terraced house was recently renovated and refurbished. Only the highest quality materials were used, such as beech real wood parquet in the bedrooms and floor-heated tiles in the kitchen, living and dining room.

The property is located on the quiet outskirts of Großostheim with ample parking facilities.

The entrance to the house is on the ground floor and can be accessed barrier-free.

The dining area with open, fully equipped kitchen is generously proportioned and the 2.40 metre long oak dining table can comfortably seat up to 6 people. A highchair for your child is available free of charge if required. From the dining area, a side door leads directly to the sun deck, which invites you to relax on the sun lounger.

The adjoining living room is furnished with a real leather sofa and armchair and a flat-screen TV. It also has a wood-burning stove, which creates a cosy atmosphere in the colder seasons.

The living room leads directly onto the garden terrace, which has seating for 6 people.

The 3 bedrooms are located on the upper floors and can each be used as double or twin rooms. For a restful sleep, all bedrooms are equipped with new box-spring beds and high-quality pocket spring mattresses in hotel quality. Each room has plenty of storage space for your clothes, and two rooms have a desk where you can relax and get on with your work.

One of the bedrooms offers a balcony as a retreat with a beautiful view of the garden and the greenery. On the upper floor is the spacious 3rd bedroom, which has been furnished in a Japanese / Scandinavian style. We can provide you with an additional baby cot free of charge if required.

On the first floor you will also find the modern daylight bathroom, which is equipped with a bathtub, shower, WC and two washbasins.

A washing machine, ironing board, iron and clothes horse are available for doing your laundry.

The house is equipped with a robot vacuum cleaner that continuously cleans the floors.

Location description

The flat is in a very quiet location on the outskirts of the town, within walking distance of all shopping facilities, the historic market square and the many sports facilities and, in summer, the outdoor swimming pool.

The old town of Großostheim impresses with its historical charm and well-preserved half-timbered houses. The narrow streets of the old town are home to cosy cafés and traditional inns that invite you to linger and enjoy the regional cuisine. Thanks to its proximity to the Spessart and Odenwald forests, Großostheim is surrounded by greenery and extensive hikes, or cycle tours are a must for all nature lovers.

Großostheim is a charming community that has a lot to offer its residents: Kindergartens, schools, medical care, many leisure activities for young and old, festivals such as the Bachgaufest, markets and concerts, various shopping opportunities in supermarkets but also retail shops in the old town, traditional modern gastronomy for every taste and much more.

We have provided you with our personal leisure tips in the holiday flat as a small collection of ideas.

Großostheim's good transport links make it an ideal starting point for travelling to both Aschaffenburg in Bavaria and Frankfurt in Hesse. You don't necessarily need a car at this accommodation, as a well-frequented bus stop can be reached on foot in approx. 5 minutes.

Central location included - just a few minutes' walk away:

- Nearest chemist / pharmacy: 10 minutes
- Historic market square: 15 minutes
- Nearest supermarket: 10 minutes
- Nearest bus stop: 5 minutes
- Outdoor swimming pool: 8 minutes
