Seasons in the Sun is located in the Blue Mountain area of 30A, a family oriented community with a laid back feel. Its beautiful white beaches and friendly atmosphere will make you want to return time and time again. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has undergone a total renovation. The open floor plan makes this the perfect house for your family gatherings. Three bedrooms are on the main level with the 4th bedroom on the ground floor utilizing a separate entrance. You will enjoy the pool or relaxing on the large screened-in deck equipped with comfy furniture. The yard is large with room for kids to run and play. The pool can be heated for an additional fee upon request. The kitchen, featuring all new appliances, is fully stocked with ample cookware, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and blender. Each bedroom is equipped with flat screen tv’s and comfortable bedding. Don’t worry about bringing a Pack-n-Play or highchair. We thought of that for you. Seasons in the Sun’s very desirable location means a short 2 minute walk to the powdery white sand beach and is close to everything but on a very peaceful and quiet street. Beach access is through Gulfview Heights. Gulfview Heights Access has parking, restrooms, showers, picnic tables with shelter, and lifeguards during peak season. Nearby, you will find many favorite local restaurants: Goatfeathers with local seafood market or Local Catch Bar and Grill on 30A serves fresh Southern style seafood daily. One of our favorites is Sally’s by the Sea, only 1.5 miles away and are known for their Famous Breakfast Sausage Biscuits. Burgers and fries are tasty. And, she serves a variety of other things at lunch. The homemade pimento cheese and homemade chicken salad are an easy pick up for taking to the beach. There are a host of other great restaurants within a 5 minute car ride. Walk or bike less than 1/2 mile to Gulf Place shopping center for more restaurants, shopping and the 30A store. This bike path, just around the corner, called The Timpoochee Trail, connects all of the communities along Hwy 30A including Seaside, Watercolor, Grayton Beach. This rental comes with a pull along carriage. If you love nature, you are right next to Draper Lake Preserve which spills into the ocean between sand dunes. This shallow water makes a fun area where young children can meet other young children and play creating memories for years to come.

Family vacation 2024

My family and I stayed her and we loved the house and location. The master bathroom was amazing. I wish however we would’ve know that the downstairs wasn’t connected to the upstairs unless you went outside.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is everything it is advertised to be. The amount of outside seating is wonderful. The beach is about 2 blocks away. The beach access does have stairs. There is an outside shower to rinse off the beach. There is lighting all over the property with labeled light switches so you can enjoy the outside seating in the evening. Basically, the house is better than advertised.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Everything from the time we pulled in to the time we left was wonderful. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us. We enjoyed breakfast everymorning on the screened in porch. Spent the day at the beach which was not a bad walk at all even when carrying plenty of beach equipment. The backyard area with the pool and seating was the perfect area to unwind at the end of the day. We just loved our stay!

Property was very clean and location was great. 3-4 minute walk to the beach, Goatfeathers, ice cream, and shops. House fully stocked for cooking and plenty of towels. Plenty of beach chairs and beach toys for the kids. Pool was clean and great to take a swim before or after the beach with tons of seating in pool area. We will defintely be looking to stay here again.

Family Get together

The property was located in a quiet neighborhood and it was close to a beach access which was very convenient. The only draw back was the stairs. If a family member has breathing or mobility issues the stairs may be an issue. Otherwise this is a great property & the set up was great.

Awesome house

This is our 3rd time staying here for our family vacation. We absolutely love it. We appreciated the upgrades this year of fresh paint, new sliding door and bathroom door downstairs. We were bummed that the bikes are no longer included in the rental. But we ended up renting some ourselves from Big Daddy Bikes. The pool is a family favorite and perfect size. This is not in owner/property manager control, but somthing we wanted to make others aware of. There is an HOA vs South Walton turf war going on at the public beach access right by the house. They have left only about 30 yd area of public beach. The gulf dunes HOA and old Florida HOA claim the beaches are private in front of their neighborhoods. Gulf dunes HOA as of Thursday has a “security guard” to enforce “their territory” . Both HOAs have signs marking the start of their beach. The locals are very upset and said the case is currently in front of the courts now and don’t think the HOAs will win. We love 30A for the less crowded beaches but with everyone confined to this small area it felt more like PCB/Gulf shores condo area vibe. :( We had at the end of the week to get to the beach by 6:30/7am to get a spot. We still give this house a 5* review because we love it and understand this is completely out of their control. And having the private pool was amazing, especially with the beach situation. Hopefully this problem gets sorted out soon and we look forward to our next trip back here!

The property was nice overall. However there were a few issues. There were no towels or rags in downstairs bathroom. The small couch in the living room needs to be cleaned it smells very bad. We tried not to sit on it. We loved the porch areas and the swimming pool. We had a great time on our family vacation.

Great time

We had a great time staying at this property. My kids loved taking a shower in the master bathroom, with the huge shower! The pool was very nice despite having trouble with the temperature and the filter that stopping working. Tons of seating around the pool. The walk to the beach was maybe 5 min, if that. The kids loved using the bikes to travel all over. Also loved that we could walk to a couple places for dinner and ice cream! Overall, a great time was had!

Enjoyable Beach House

Plus- Location, Location, Location; Bikes, Simple Electronics/AC Controls, Master Shower, Restaurants in walking distance, Outside Sitting Area around the Pool, Rental Company Assistance was great. Minus-Stairs, Stairs,Stairs, No Kuerig Coffee Machine, Hot Tub was left on by previous renters so the pool was 99 degrees when we arrived and never got below 94, BBQ Grill Needs thorough cleaning to prevent grease fires, Charcoal Grill is poor quality (small). Gulfview Heights area is getting very popular and beach front is acquired by those who are early risers and set up at 6am. Most lack beach etiquette. Algae was present most of the week so the water clarity in the shallow area was missed. Beautiful Turquoise Colors out deeper though, Thankfully we were never ran off the beach due to rain! Solid Vacation with Family and Friends.

Nice location with private pool and quick walk/bike ride to beach access

This property is in a nice neighborhood, near most anything you want or need. The property management team was easy to contact and quick to respond. The property is toddler friendly. If you are staying in the lower part of the house the only access to the main part is outside. There are sprinklers that are set on timers, and they will get you wet if you are trying to go from the lower level to the upper level. We made a game out of it and had fun with it, but someone else might find it annoying.

A lot going on at this place. Two separate units

Upon arrival we discovered a few things: there was no internal staircase between upstairs and downstairs bedrooms; the master bedroom window had been cracked; there was a washing machine sitting on the front porch. The last two are still there after our visit. In addition, the ice maker never worked and the pool turned green one day. The door to the screened porch opened and slammed all night in the wind. We could t latch it for fear the kids couldn’t reach us from the downstairs units if they had to…because of course there were no internal stairs. The beds were not comfortable at all. There were positives. The wifi worked even by the pool. The master shower was incredible, and we loved the grill. The pool was warm, which was good during this spring break because of the chillier temps. The property managers were prompt in getting someone out to fix the water situation in the pool. The kitchen was nice as well, as were the washer and dryer (the ones not on the porch). We stayed one block closer to the beach on our last trip and we rather enjoyed being closer to the main road for walks and bike roads etc

Relaxing for the whole family.

This was the perfect spring break vacation. The proximity to the beach and location to ride bikes to most of the places we wanted to go set up for a great week. I Wish I Could Buy and Live in this House Forever

There is not enough Amazing things I could say about this house. Perfection. Even my 11 year old asked if we could stay in this house every year! There is a very short walk right next to Goatfeathers and an amazing ice cream shop. The beach is just a couple minute walk and was so much fun. Everyone seems to have a sweet dog that they are walking and playing on the beach with in the mornings. There was more than enough room and different lounging areas for everyone. Can’t wait to come back.

It was a wonderful house that was perfect for our entire family!

I was initially weary about the location when you look at it on the map but it was perfect. A nice short walk to the beach! The house was clean and with enough room for everyone. With two families consisting of children ranging in ages from 5-17 it worked out good. There were plenty of sitting areas both inside and out and the enclosed patio was a bonus. The pool was nice to use as a break from the ocean and at night! And on days when there were red flags (which was thankfully only one day - to be excepted during hurricane season). The home had everything you needed (except salt, pepper, and spices - so make sure to plan accordingly if you want to cook anything). The property manager was very helpful and VERY fast! We had only two small issues - one was with the basement door when we arrived and then the heater for the hot tub/pool was not hooked up (we didn't necessarily need it but we informed them so that they were aware). When I informed them of the issues, there was someone there to fix it within an hours time! They were very helpful and the gentlemen that came to fix the door was very polite. The neighborhood is great and close by a lot of shops/stores along 30A.

Great place and great location

Just a couple minute walk to the beach. Nice beach entrance with bathrooms and showers. The house was nice and the pool was fun. My only complaints are the bottom of the house has no connection to the top and the hot tub was broken. We told mgmt about it and they came out to fix it but never completed the job.
