We spent a week at the cottage with 6 kids aged 10-15. The cottage was clean, comfortable, well equipped and spacious enough for us all. The cottage is in a quiet bay away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Rosseau so it’s very peaceful and the water is shallow and clean. Karen was a great host and helpful when we had a small issue of a flat tire. We love the area and would return. Highly recommend.
Great place, plenty of room for all ages.
Dock area great for kids swimming and sheltered.
Convenient location by boat from Port Stanfield or Port Carling
We were 4 adults. The cottage had everything we needed and had a beautiful view! We did some canoeing and kayaking on the lake and enjoyed the ping pong table in the boathouse. There was lots of room to spread out and we would love to return one day! Karen was a great host and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this cottage!
This was our 2nd stay and the Cornell cottage. This is an ideal location for teens/young adults to spend time and hang out with friends with plenty of room for the adults to enjoy as well.
Cottage has everything you need and owners Karen and David are very reachable and responsive.
We stayed for a long weekend in October and the cottage was great! Cottage was perfectly clean on our arrival, the property is beautiful and very private.
This property is a like a piece of heaven! Our family of 11 had a wonderful time on our Thanksgiving getaway. The cottage and property are even more beautiful in person with everything you could possibly need. The cottage is spacious with a very cozy feel to it and has amazing views of the lake. Thank you Karen and David!
Karen and david were extremely communicative throughout the entire booking process as well as during our stay. The property was perfect for our group of girls. The hot tub was wonderful and the screened in porch area was an excellent spot for games!
This property really hosts some 10/10 views of Lake Rosseau, and the boathouse is quite a gem! A very private bay within the large lake gives the calm, while going boating you can do all the things on the lake. Karen and David were both very attentive and took care of us while we were vacationing... I would highly suggest this slice of paradise!
The location on a small bay off of the main lake was lovely. It was just my husband and me and there was plenty of room for more people. However, the main cottage was perfect for us and it was clean and had everything we needed. The screened in porch, large deck with view and hot tub were great. We did not use the bunky/boathouse, but would consider renting next time as it would be great space for our adult children. It was the perfect spot.
I shared the cottage with a group of 8. Never did we feel crowded. There was everything you needed. We had a very relaxing time. I want to thank Karen and David for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful cottage.
This is a wonderful property. The owners were very supportive. The cottage is beautiful, very peaceful and secluded. We needed for nothing. Thank you Cornell's for being able to share your wonderful accommodations
Beautiful property with everything you need. Our group of 11 had a fabulous time. Kitchen is well equipped for dining in and the hot tub was a great way to relax while taking in a magnificent view. Lots of water toys and equipment to enjoy the lake and fire pit outside and fire place inside made for cozy evenings. Outside deck is large and well furnished and the screened in muskoka room is great for dining or lounging outside in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The photos do not even do this property justice. The cottage was so well equipped from everything from the kitchen cookware right down to all the outdoorsy activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the property and would absolutely love to return!

Beautiful home and property
My family thoroughly enjoyed our week at this cottage and would highly recommend it! Beautiful kitchen, plenty of room to sleep and a boat house that provided extra space. We had a great time with all of the lake toys (paddle boards, tube, canoe, paddle boat) and found the location to be ideal. Karen and David were great to communicate with and were very responsive. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Excellent Accommodation and Ideal Location
Superbly Equipped Cottage - both inside and outside.
Hosts extremely friendly and helpful - answered all of our questions (and there were a few of them!) quickly and with detail.
Lovely welcome pack upon arrival.
Rosseau and Port Carling well worth a visit (only 15 minutes away).
Wonderful family get together - cottage has a lovely homely feel. We all had such a great time messing about on the water/relaxing in the sun during the day and then relaxing in the comfiest lounge after dining for 9 of us either at the huge dining table or on the balcony.
So spacious.
Spectacular views - especially sunrise (well worth getting up early).
Thank you for making this a truly unforgettable holiday for our family of 3 generations. Shame we had to leave.

Truly the definition of "Tranquility"
Karen and David's place is honestly a little piece of heaven. Nestled in a small quiet bay made for excellent paddle boarding conditions. The boat house (hardly a boat house due to it being newly renovated) was perfect for 4 out of the 12 ladies in our party and the main cottage held the other 8 perfectly. Decor was fabulous and the screened in porch was perfect for the randy day we had there. Karen was quick to respond to any questions we had and her check in and check out instructions were very clear. Everything was as advertised and the welcome gift package was the cherry on top of the whole weekend. 100% would go back any time! Thank you again to Karen and David for having us!
