Simply perfect! Living on Maui for almost 35years, I have searched a long time to find this gem of an accommodation and hopefully, I will be able to share this treasure with you.

Our fabulous oasis offers an extra-large, 1300 sq ft of interior living space that consists of two bedrooms both with their own en suite bathrooms and a separate powder room. A rare and highly desirable corner unit with a huge 250 sq ft wrap around lanai. The incredible panoramic ocean and outer island views will be hard to beat anywhere on Maui. You might as well be at the helm of a yacht... 240-degree Pacific views forever!

The Royal Kahana Resort offers guests a first class vacation experience and is conveniently located between the fabulous resort areas of Kaanapali Beach and Kapalua Bay. Located close to superb shops and restaurants at Whalers Village Shopping Center in Kaanapali, and the championship golf courses at Kapalua.

This 4th floor corner end unit underwent a completed gorgeous remodel and in 2020 wood floors were added throughout. The PHENOMENAL ocean and outer Island views can be enjoyed from almost the entire property including the living room, dining room, master bedroom, and, of course, from the huge 45 FOOT LONG WRAP-AROUND LANAI! The sweeping ocean views of Lanai and Molokai grace the horizon and beckon you from afar. If you are visiting in the winter, there is no better place on the entire coast to see the whales putting on a most spectacular (almost private) show for your enjoyment.

Our spacious condominium is tastefully decorated in a coastal tropical theme. A full kitchen, washer, dryer, cable t.v. in every room, DVD player, FREE high speed internet as well as free long distance to the Mainland and Canada will ensure your vacationing comfort.

With a king-size bed in the master, two twins in the second bedroom, and a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room, the condo can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. The extra powder room off the living area is an especially nice feature for visiting guests and guests utilizing the sleeper sofa.

Three ceiling to floor glass sliders can open up seamlessly blending the lovely interior of the living room,dining area, master bedroom. with the world class outdoor views.

Amenities at the Royal Kahana include a LARGE HEATED POOL surrounded by a sundeck. Adjacent to the pool is a beachfront lawn area to sun and take in the views. Whether you choose to swim in the pool, sun yourself at the pool deck or beachfront lawn area, or take a refreshing dip in the ocean... perhaps a little snorkeling or boogie boarding, or just a stroll down the white sandy beach, you will delight in the natural beauty surrounding you here at the Royal Kahana.

There are four gas-fired barbecue grills at the pool area. For relaxed entertainment, as well as a Ping-Pong tables and shuffleboard. There is also an on site exercise room, 24 hour concierge as well as an activity desk. A conference room can be reserved in advance.

The ground and building are maintained impeccably, as is the interior of the condo. Being an owner who lives on Maui, I visit the condo regularly when it is available,and make sure everything is in top shape.

The Royal Kahana is within a few-minute walk to many shops, convenience stores, beauty salon, and over a dozen restaurants offering everything from casual to fine dining options.

Located directly on the Kahana Coastline, all shoreline is at the mercy of Mother Nature and the tidal ebb and flow of the ocean with its matching wave action. The beach and/or the beach access cannot be guaranteed. But there are a couple beach accesses less than a 5 minute walk from the condo. Our location makes for a perfect position to take in and experience the incredible sunsets, turtles, and during Whale Season, the best vantage point to view the whales breaching right on front of our lanai.

short 3 night stay

I loved this property and the whole family really enjoyed the stay here. We explored a lot of Maui in our few days and so we had to do quite a bit of driving to get to other side of the island (road to Hana and Haleakala), but we spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and the balcony and the property was great for our family of 5.

gorgeous views from Maui to Molokai

This condo is right above a small beach and looks over the ocean to Molokai. A wrap around lanai was a great place to listen to the waves and watch sea turtles. The condo was very clean and well equipped, including beach gear. The owner has provided upgraded appliances, flooring, and fixtures. A rental car is needed to access other beaches and restaurants. And importantly, the property manager Mariea was very responsive and helpful!

Beautiful condo, stunning views, and outstanding customer service by the owner

This is a beautiful, spacious condo with a wonderful lanai that's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a gorgeous sunset. It 100% lived up to the description and photos in the listing, and we were excited to end our Hawaii vacation in this wonderful spot. The owner was also amazing to work with--graciously arranging to have our luggage packed up and sent to us when the recent wildfires on Maui interrupted our stay, preventing us from retrieving our things before we needed to leave the island. The beauty we experienced both in the sites of Maui and in the amazing people we met while there have us eager to plan a return trip. And we'll definitely look to this property as a top choice for a play to stay when we do.

Great condo and awesome views

We booked this based on the view and the wrap around lanai. Upon arrival it did not disappoint. The wrap around lanai and views sell this property. It was clean with plenty of amenities. The host was wonderful and communicated well and timely. I would stay at this property again.

Just pure paradise. The unit had everything you could need. Beach front wonderful view. Clean. Comfortable! Just perfect. The views are amazing and much better in person. Photos cannot do it the justice it deserves! The surrounding area is great too!

Best view on Maui

We had the best time at this condo! The view is absolutely beautiful. We loved falling asleep to the sound of waves. We saw many turtles. The condo is spacious and very elegantly decorated. We were all very comfortable. We also appreciated the early checkin as we were coming from another condo in Kihei. We loved this one and plan to book it again in the future.

Outstanding Place

My wife and I stayed a week with another couple. This VRBO was everything you could hope for. The host was exceptional in her communication and ease of checking in. The location and the condo itself were amazing. The place was clean, and the 180-degree view of the ocean from the balcony was breathtaking. The air conditioning worked well. The pool was warmed to at least 90 degrees and was more than comfortable to swim in the evening. The BBQ facilities are cleaned daily and worked perfectly. I could not recommend the host or her place with any higher confidence.

Beautiful View

Our room probably had one of the best and most relaxing views in the complex. The complex is at the end of the main strand that runs along the beach front. Due to that there are less people and the beach area is less commercial. This is ideal if you are looking for an area to relax with far less people bunched up on the beach. This condo had anything you needed for an extended stay. It is laid out in a manner you have a beautiful view from the dinning room, living room and master bedroom. The unit was clean and well decorated. The unit had plenty of useable items such as toilet paper, paper towels, wash rags, towels etc. The bad is - The master bed and pillows are uncomfortable. The guest bed room beds are not fasten to the head boards and the beds move around when trying to sleep. Probably ok for little kids but not teenage boys that are 6ft tall. I would suggest hitting up the Ross down the road and buying some better pillows if you plan to stay a while. The washer and dryer are dated and don’t work well. The washer will not spin the water out of the towels, so the dryer can not dry them. They seemed to work well on regular clothes. Sherry was great to deal with and Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Perfect stay

We could not have been happier with our stay . Location was excellent and the property’s view was beautiful. My goal was to stay at a property that was nice enough that if you can adults were sleeping in, I would be happy right where I was. Mission accomplished. Location was close to the better restaurants but away from the congestion of Lahaina. Unit is self was tastefully, decorated and updated . There is an coffee shop/pastries less than a 3 min walk away. I would definitely try to stay here when we visit Maui again.

Amazing Property

The condo was amazing. The views from the Lanai were stunning. At sunrise we watched the sea turtles swim by with whales in the distance. The condo was well equipped with all things you need for beach sitting and swimming. It was clean and beautifully furnished. We would highly recommend this property and if we are ever back again in Maui, this is the on.y place we will stay. The property owner was very accommodating, and communications were perfect. Thank you.

Great condo

We loved the condo. The lanai had the most beautiful view for sunrise and sunsets. Easy access to the beach with all the amenities. The nicest place we have stayed in our 8 years of traveling to Maui. Only little thing was the washing machine would not spin out any of the water. Took triple time to dry our underwear. Just surprised that this hadn’t been mentioned. A lot of love went into decorating with so much room. Just beautiful.

Ideal view

The unit owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The views from the unit are gorgeous. Unit itself is very clean and nice but a bit dated. That being said, the unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Checkin was a bit bizarre because the front desk made us pay for 4 nites for parking fees when we were only staying 3. Creative math? Even with this- the view made up for everything. Beautiful!!

Best vacation we have had!

My daughter and I had such a wonderful time at Sherrie’s condo that we booked it again for next year. I spent most of the days sitting on our lanai looking at whales! It was so fun watching the baby whales learn how to breach. The restaurants in the area were delicious, many with ocean views. Sherrie is an amazing and attentive host. I would highly recommend this condo.

Whales and rainbows!

Sherrie’s condo is just as described. Spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient We loved watching whales from the lanai. Saw rainbows nearly every day. The pool and common areas were clean and well cared for. Sherrie was responsive to every need. This is a perfect place to stay.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Sherri was a pleasure to work with and her unit had everything we needed. The location was away from the crowds but close enough to the Maui activities. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning and enjoyed the ocean view. Plus, we saw whales every day! It was an absolutely wonderful trip and we're looking forward to booking her unit again!

The property itself is dated. We happened to be in Maui the week of a torrential storm. The windows and sliding door are old and water poured into the unit. We used the beach towels to soak up the water. Because the windows are old and not well sealed, the wind noise was so loud it was impossible to sleep. The pool was cold. The views are lovely. We will pay a bit more next year and stay in the Whaler Village.
