About this property

Stone Canyon Cabin is located 20 minutes south of downtown Dallas. The cabin has all modern day amenities with easy access to all of Dallas/ Ft. Worth attractions. The cabin style is late 1800s US western frontier. All amenities are hidden in walls, cabinets or closets. The cabin is very private with no direct view of civilization. Guests are always surprised by the detail and finish out not visible in the photographs. It is located in the middle of a 100 acre horse ranch. Most guests begin booking their next trip before they leave.
Pet's welcome in this cabin but pet fee box must be checked during registration. A pet fee will be charged at check-in of not paid in advance.

If your planning on having more then 4 people at the property, YOU MUST reach out to the ranch staff (469-658-5584 Eva) to get event pricing. Any groups larger then 4 arriving at the ranch will be subject to event pricing. No exceptions!

Nice Getaway Cabin

Nice cabin to isolate yourself from society for a while. Has everything you would need. Girlfriend enjoyed the stay for her birthday.

Great location! Close to the DFW mid cities, but setting is rural and relaxing. Plenty to explore on this beautiful property and relaxation is guaranteed!

Cabin Stay

The cabin sits on a 100 acres of land that you are free to explore. It is beautiful and they did a great job making it look very dated. Great place to stay!

Little House on the prairie gettaway

This log cabin is a breathe of fresh air The Hosts are sweet people as well and so willing to help you be the most comfortable. It was gorgeous, clean and hidden away. I spent my birthday there with my family and a few friends came to eat cake. It was the BEST and most peaceful time. We had a bonfire in the back which is so beautiful...it's even prettier than the pictures.

This was the cutest place ever. The trails and the cabin itself was very nice. The property manager was wonderful and responded quickly. I just had one request that would have made the stay the best. That would have been to do a thorough cleaning. It was very dirty, many of the lights were burned out and the cabinets had dirt and dried food in them. Cobwebs everywhere and the shower was needing some work with cleanliness. Take a day or two and clean the cabin, update the lightbulbs and this would be an awesome place to stay. I would love to return if it was cleaned up some because other than that fact it was so fun to stay out in the wilderness.

Great getaway close to everything DFW

We stayed at stone canyon ranch for my oldest sons baseball tournament. It was great for my whole crew. We were minutes away from the ball fields but felt miles away when staying there. Our hosts were great, as was the cabin and property. Exceeded expectations by a mile (even in a hot Texas drought).

Lots of Space and Friendly Managers

The property managers were friendly and kind. There's a lot of greenery and room around, but it's still close to civilization and Dallas proper. Petting the horses was a treat as well.

Luxury cabin in the middle of a lovely pasture

Very private, very beautiful, incredibly quiet. Friendly and accommodating host and hostess. It was very clean and had a very comfortable mattress. The only problem was the TV reception. We couldn't figure out how to access Netflix or Amazon, so we tried watching cable and it cut out every few seconds. We ended up sitting on the porch and listening to the birds sing, which was lovely. All in all, 5 out of 5!

Nice remote wooded cabin on a creek

Cabin was very nice, 1870 motif and over looked a creek. Had hiccup with check-in as no one answered the phone and voice mail to property manager was not set up. Eventually made contact with Eva who helped us with everything.

Christmas getaway!

We were looking for a Christmas getaway to be able to visit family in the DFW metroplex. We were skeptical bc of how perfect the pictures looked and the description, but man we were blown away. We pulled in and had a security coded gate (made us feel safe) and pulled through a windy dirt road through pastures, wooded areas, and even bridges over beautiful streams. Then we arrived to a large open field and everything matching the description of the property. What was not in the description is what we saw when we opened the doors. We looked to our right and saw the most beautiful/perfectly decorated and lit Christmas Tree to our right and when we looked up the stairs they had ran garland and lights going up the stairs. All we said was "PERFECT, ITS PERFECT!" We hate the DFW traffic and hustle and bustle but this little getaway took us away so much we almost just wanted family to come to us. It was a great stay and appreciated our time and stay. We will most definitely be staying again visiting family or just to enjoy. Thanks again!!!
